ok, now, when and if i'll get to philippines with my girlfriend i know what to drink!! quick question, my mother-in-law tell me stories about the so called "barako coffee", they were all liberica coffe? it was just some kind of gimmick name? and last, this specific one does ship over-continent (italy, more specific)?

This coffee is the original "Barako" back in the day until the emergence of the robusta then people started replacing their liberica trees with robusta plants - simply because of the amount of yield on a robusta plant is way too irresistable. Eventually the name Barako lost its real merits - it became whatever is sold in a Filipino market roasted to a really dark profile bec that's how they used to drink it back in the day. The liberica on the other hand is slowly coming back and is on a nice ride to the specialty coffee scene. It's still hard to find good liberica as of this moment but man its something that you have to try in your lifetime :) One piece of advice is if you are looking for a specialty coffee level beans dont go looking for Barako - go look for liberica. But if you are looking for a typical Filipino Coffee then you can find Barako anywhere :)

Most likely it was Liberca. "Barako" means something in the lines of "mascular man" because these beans have been roasted to very dark that it gives off an intense flavor akin to being strong. As what Daryl said, it's very hard to find good and high quality roasted Libericas apart from the ones that are super dark AKA Barako so might have some difficulty finding one that serves good Liberica.
