I’m inclined to agree... The Lypertek Tevi, out of the box, are the better-tuned earbuds. More expansive soundstage, better-defined instruments, solid and well-behaved bass, not overly emphatic in any area, but quite revealing of the music itself. The Liberty 2 Pro come in second with their out of the box tuning. The soundstage seemed narrower, and the highs a bit tinny, when compared to the Tevi. But it seems the EQ settings in the app do affect the sound noticeably, so maybe playing with those settings will get you the sound you want? After these two, I just didn’t care for the Sabbat at all... My only wish would have been to have the complete sound signature and characteristics of the Sennheiser Momentum in the packaging and at the price point of the Tevi. The soundstage was yet still more expansive, and the instruments better-defined. I actually prefer the highs of the Tevi, but everything else from the Senns soundwise in the Tevi would make for a great buy, to me.

I agree with your assessment on all three. I felt like the Tevi had the more dynamic sound of the three, followed closely by the Liberty Pro 2 and then the Sabbat E12 Ultra. Actually, the Sabbats didn’t sound all that good to me-muddy and mids were pushed back. But that is how they sounded to my ears-as you stated, we each hear differently. But I love the idea of dialing in a more accurate sound profile with the Liberty Pro. Can you activate volume control on the Liberty Pro 2 without having to remove other features? I got my Sabbat E12 from Aliexpress and it had too much mids and treble on the left side, bass was slightly stronger on the right side but not by much. I put some foam into the nozzle underneath the mesh filter which has balanced the sound to some degree. I previously got an original E12 from another Aliexpress seller, which had almost the same problem, except bass was so badly imbalanced. Maybe it's a QC issue or they're selling factory seconds...

The sound that comes out is pleasing as all hell. The Airpods have always been my go to because of the ease of use and strong connection but I literally haven't touched them since I started using these. The cloth case isn't the best and I also got rid of that stupid little faux leather string it came with, but everything else is perfect. @Davids Kennedy. Honestly, I think the bass is tight or one notch under tight. Problem is that in order to get that tight bass, you have to raise the volume which can be deafening and shrill. I use an equalizer that seems to do the trick. Also, when you get them, you should listen to them, burn them in and then you will likely see a difference in how they perform. They get extremely loud and are rich in sound but need an equalizer to lessen the harshness of the highs as they are extremely detailed. The tevi 2's will be ridiculous next year hopefully. I'd like to see them more comfortable. I will continue to try different eartips until then.

@Secret Agent Steve Well he based his judgement purely on the music samples in this video which does not represent the actual sound, not even up to 50% lol. Tech you put on or in your ears are one of the most difficult piece of tech to review because you need to try it on yourself to judge the sound. Sure, Tevi sounds the clearest in the music samples but it could be that when you actually put them in your ears, you'll find the really forward mids and vocals as well as the elevated treble kill your ears. But it seems most people love the Tevi. You should've kept them both and compared the sound haha.

The lyperteks are the steel of the year, out of the $90 cost depending where you live the majority of that is cost of shipping, when I got mine the receipt said $50+ for shipping cost to us. Which means the ear buds themselves are way cheaper.

Did you import? If so usually theyll lower the items value so customers avoid customs Ive got tons of products shipped from China what were $15 mp3 players but in reality it was a $250 phone

Hmmm, I generally agree with your review and rank and comparing all 3 brands to the more expensive recognized brands is fine. However, when comparing all 3 without considering price points is quite unfair. Yes, agreed Tevi has amazing sound but it is also more than twice the price of the E12 Ultra. If all 3 have relatively similar price points then it would be a more fair assessment. Apart from that, great review.

The price point are similar with the exception of liberty 2 pro. See below not sure where you got tevi 2x ultra. Liberty 2 Pro - $149 Tevi -$89 E12 Ultra - $79 Appreciate you taking time to watch.

@@BrianUnboxed In Singapore, Lypertek Tevi are $139 SGD and Sabbat E12 Ultra are $60 SGD, hence over double the price. Just my 2 cents worth. I appreciate the review though. I confirmed buying the E12 after watching your previous reviews on the E12 and liberty. For me, I am not a sound buff so my decision was based on price. Just say'in.

I do not want price point limitations. Would have preferred to see Sennheiser momentum in here instead of e12 ultra tbh. Looking forward to next vids.

@@TheSunnySuttons Wow, price difference for sure in Singapore. E12's are solid and are one of my favorites since the initial version. For me price doesn't necessarily dictate performance. A lot of the bigger brands will charge so much $$$ and you can find great value in smaller brands. That's why it's worth doing these comparison base on the devices themselves. A great example are the Apple AirPods. Way over priced with underwhelming performance, and many earbuds in the 50-$80 range can easily outperform. Hope you enjoy the E12's!

That's it. Hate the sound signature of the e12 ultra. Torn between the Tevi and liberty 2 pro

I'd say the Liberty 2 Pros just beat the Tevis for me. The latter have a slightly better soundstage and are brighter, but I prefer the warmer sound of the Liberty 2 Pros. The equiliser settings is a bonus. I already have a pair of Melomania 1s which are quite neutral hence being monitors. Their clarity is just sublime. Excellent pair of wireless buds.

bass is good in liberty but some times its over powering and in sabbat has good bass but little lower sound stage than other two but lypertek is best sound staging overall quality sounds and mostly not over powering.

Liberty 2 pro is so much better! The amount of separation and transparency is amazing, the Soundstage is much wider and deeper than the other 2, not to mention the call quality. That's for the review, loved it!

Great video! Would you say the comfort of the Liberty 2 Pro outweighs the benefits of Tevi’s 70 hours battery and water resistance?

It really depends on what you want and are looking for...For my personal preference I tend to find a happy medium since there are no perfect earbuds.

I just don't understand why the most important factor in ranking earbuds ISN'T how close they are to perfectly reproducing the original track. There are 1000's of EQ apps to tinker to your own choice but if the earbuds don't reproduce accurately, you will have a mess of sound.

@@IAmHaaris i too have the sabbat e12 ultra and i got to say, they are really powerful in the bass parts. The highs are sometimes stingy but overall they are good. They look good too. Overall they're good for the price.
