It was a very fun game with you. I played as Turkey for the viewers. The most surprising move to me was your spring 1902 move that did not result in your taking Rumania.

I had fun with you, too, even though you absolutely ran away with the East in this game!

Great playing with you, Teague! Thanks for commenting. My reflections on the round 2 game coming tomorrow! And round 3 in another couple of weeks.

I suppose I (France) was indecisive in 03 when I pulled back, but I was debating turning on England if things turned south in the Lowlands. I didn't even consider the Tunis convoy; just didn't see it. I didn't want to go super aggro lest I'd be seen as enemy #1 on the board. I then didn't want to go super far out for sort of meta reasons since it was day 1 of the tournament and it would have painted a big target on my back. If you guys kept the RAT up, I think the result of the match would have been quite different.

Thanks for commenting, France! I think you played a bit more conservatively than I typically do, but in the long run, we now know it definitely worked out for you. Maybe so, regarding the RAT. I certainly would've preferred not to end on one dot!

Yeah stabbing Italy lost you the game here. You had Turkey on the ropes here and gave them an out while losing an ally who basically was in no position to stab you

Many regrets from this game. I could have been the winner or near winner despite playing one of the riskiest powers!
