Hi Holly🤩- You, your family & friends are in my prayers. Heal up soon💜. I like this box. Love the needle minder since I hand sew a lot. fyi- Biscoff cookies are a nummy spice, fall experience. I love the project bag pattern❣ AND I love all your stories and your thoughts that you share with us. I think those flowers are petunias...I'm in full agreement- ALL patterns need pics! As for this LIBERTY FABRIC box, I did some research on the internet. I thought perhaps Liberty's idea of a "fat quarter" may be different than ours here in the us. Of course we all know that Google can be very unreliable at times but I unearthed some information that stated Liberty's idea of a fat quarter is 18" by 26". So you can imagine my alarm at that info, after viewing your pieces of fabric that look like there are 8"x12"... but one thing I have learned- just like people look heavier on film, so does fabric look larger and so do seem allowances look wider.... I hate to hold the price of the Box against Liberty fabric because it is a well-known fact that their Fabrics are too expensive..🤣🤣... That said, I give this box an A. P.S. What are the measurements of the fabric pieces from this box!? Any chance they measure 9"x13"? If so, it could be a typo on the intro sheet that came with the box....maybe they meant fat EIGTH instead of fat quarter... Love ya Girl❣ Over n Out🎃🧵🎃🧵

That was a gorgeous box opening! I wonder if there was a typo and should have said fat sixteenths. I would consider subscribing to this monthly box of goodies. I checked out the website and the fabric is all so beautiful.

I forgot to say that Liberty fabric costs more than normal quilting cotton, so that is part of the price of the box too.

I would rate this an A as I love Liberty lawn fabrics. I like the pattern as well and unique needle minder. I think you may have the fat 16th subscription box based on the price. They must have put the wrong note in your box. It looks like they have subscriptions with just the fabric, which is a nice option.

Chrysler building has the triangles (the New York beauty quilt block mimics that motif) The other one is the Empire State Building. The 2 arch bridge is the Brooklyn Bridge - not sure the other.

Hope you feel better soon. I’m gonna be brutally honest! D- Not my kind of fabric, looks like a little more then a 10” to me not a fat quarter. For the price and the amount of fabric it’s not there for me. If it was fat quarters …maybe. I don’t get this box, so I’m not sure what the pattern looks like. Do you use the fabric for this pattern? It didn’t look like it to me. I heard you mention you needed vinyl, that would have been nice to get in the box.

Hi Holly, Sorry you are sick. Take care of yourself. I’m very tempted to try this box but am worried the fabric is not large enough to use. Maybe there is enough to cut 10” squares. What do you think? I do love the florals. I’m about ready to try quilting as my fingers are getting some feeling back. The chemo made my feet and fingers totally numb. I am done with chemo and going into maintenance. Fingers crossed that my future scans are good. I really enjoy your videos. Best wishes. Carol

Hi Carol! The fabric pieces measure 10 x 14 so you could cut a 10" square from each. So glad to hear you are finished with chemo. I'll light a candle for you and all those future scans. Here's to better days ahead! xo

I love Liberty of London but find it hard to incorporate into my sewing. It’s a pricey box and a pricey project bag so I’ll give it a B mostly due to the cost and not sure about the fat quarter size.

Liberty lawn width is 54 inches not the regular 44. That’s why they don’t look like fat quarters.

I have only been a subscriber for a couple of months, so I guess I don't understand. Is there supposed to be a "theme" to the boxes they send? I see a pattern, I see fabric, but oftentimes, I don't see a cohesion of many of the fabrics. This box included. I give this box a B-. The price was high in mho, and the fabrics didn't seem to work together. If I get a box of fabrics, I want them to work 😊.

I am so torn! On the one hand this box is to $$ for me. It does not appear to be a good value for the cost. On the other hand MOST of the fabric is super creative. Admittedly I'm struggling to understand where the NY print fit in with poppies 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ I agree that the needle minder appears 'Boojie.' My vote is a B-. Feel well! Thanks for sharing with us ❤️

I know that Liberty fabric is pricey so there's that. But for me, this is a box I'd never order. I don't use Liberty fabrics because 98% of them aren't my taste. I thought the best thing was the Cohana needle minder/sharpener -- they make beautiful notions. I'm giving a generous C.

I love this box. It is so well curated and not at all overwhelming, like some of the other boxes. It always seems like the notions are unique too. I would get this box if it were in the budget. I know I haven't graded the others, so maybe it's not fair, but definitely an "A" from me.

I am hopefully nearing the end of a cold (tested negative for flu, strep, rat, & pcr) that morphed into bronchitis/sinus infection, & was finally told that the post virus cough can last 6 weeks. - EVEN when you are technically healthy. SO do take care.

I would have preferred the vinyl, zipper, fabric and floss for the project bag and a different pattern for the fabrics.. The price is TOO much for what was in the box it's a D for me

Sue, I saw a quilt at a recent quilt show. The top was completely made out of tana lawn. It was the lightest, silkiest quilt. Just beautiful!

Liberty League Fabrics are not traditional fat quarters they are cut at London England standards.

I wouldn’t give it an A. The fabric is nice, but not fat quarters…and what are you going to do with them? I prefer fabric that goes together within itself and that I can make a project from. And the notions…one okay, but the other reminds me of the tool I use to get dog fuzz off of me. 🫤. Get better soon!
