Liberty got their revenge. Georgia Southern voted for Liberty not to get in the Sun Belt conference several years ago. Since then, Liberty has gone 4-1 vs. the Sun Belt conference including beating Georgia Southern in a bowl game.

I'm a Southern fan and while I do agree the refs sucked (honestly, that was some of worse officiating I have ever seen).. if we had played better than the crappy refs wouldn't have mattered. We would have beaten them by several touchdowns had we played better.

@@doge-pal I have never heard of that as a Christian with the ortinment. Jesus is the LORD in flesh and Mary wasn't a Virgin at all. I study the Bible whenever I'm in a personal crisis. I don't have it fed to me by a preacher who is making money and expanding it like Liberty University using the Word of God to make a profit and spending on a NASCAR sponsorship for Hendrick Motorsports (just FU money).

I was there in person in the student section, second row. When the ball hit the post, it made the most beautiful sound of the world with the ball hitting the metal post as a Georgia Southern fan/student. That push-off was pass interference all day on that INT, that was the play of the game.

@@clay8998 - The officials definitely helped Liberty. Though it's hard to say Georgia Southern definitely would have won the game. Their offense was bad basically the entire game.
