It's not because of only Jupiter..it is because of Saturn in 5th house also....but definite answer can be given only after studying the complete horoscope...just one factor doesn't decide the outcome...Best wishes for new year though..

Jupiter in 2nd house is always good...but again over all position matters..one factor doesn't decide the outcome of any event...
