I have been in tears since I first listened. I came back to say that I have been off work for almost a year. Work related. Circumstances have become dire, and we are in settlement negotiations. Rent is due Monday. I have no money. Every bill is behind. I am struggling to beg and borrow diaper money. But the end is in sight. I feel the crushing weight of my family’s needs and expectations. I am the Provider. Leader. Nurturer. I accepted the mantle of responsibility for these humans, and I feel its weight acutely. So I took a sales job. Doing demos for products I truly believe in while I wait for word from my attorney. I have not been checking in with him, but I am waiting because I know I’ll hear something soon. The resolution of this case will change my life. I started an LLC and am going into business for myself. Everything is changing. Rapidly. And I know that when the last grain of sand hits, the whole thing will fall. I can’t fxckkng wait. Let the Tower fall. Everything screams as it dies, and my old life has got teeth. Time to let go.

Yes, it is a life changing moment. This has been a big Tower moment for me this week! Some drama at work happened and I decided to retire now instead of later! Don't want to be mad and irritated all day, everyday. 23 years at the job. 47 years of retail work. My hubby finally agreed we could do this financially.
