Sometimes people think you are a certain way, because you show an aspect of yourself that fits in with them. So they assume you’re a duck too… but when that no longer works for you anymore. Omg this is so incredibly accurate I can't believe it.. I have to step back from this new love, let go, sit still and let them figure out their old conflict with their ex and family ties. Everything was rushing an if I step in now, it's just painful. It triggers my fear of being left and loss tough... I have to wait for the right timing. This is so true. The person is a co worker who is pushing me to reveal stuff about myself that they will then use to feel superior. i am beating myself up because this constantly happens to me. I meet someone new, am really friendly and nice and they are nice to me back, i show some weakness (by accident becaise they have dug for it) then bam, they try to manipulate me and use me to feel better about themselves.

I did go right from my parents home to living with my fiancé. When I leave my current relationship I will be living on my own for a period of time. Thank you for cycling through relationship balance. That was beneficial to hear. There is a 20 plus year friend I was thinking of supporting. I need to think about whether the situation will tip our life and heart over where our emotions, minds, spirits, and physical needs will be strong and life giving (caterpillar is getting the sustenance it needs to emerge), or will the situation eat away at us? Thinking about it realistically, standing ground in order to approach it in a well thought out fair manner would be a better way.
