Did anyone observe, the three participants always picked up the book that was not well kept together but was single out and leaning with the shelf. They might have done that because it must have been easy for them to read name of the book and as it was easy to pick. But still, I couldn't figure out how he memorized everything. I guess, magic.

When he puts his hand over the book and the pages change to say Alice, he flicks it (~4:29)I also noticed that he opens and closes it slightly at the beginning? Not sure if it’s part of his trick. Don’t know anything else about this or his other tricks though. Love this series :d

Derren Brown did something similar to this, but with just one book.. if I recall correctly he claimed that it was possible to memorize an entire book and also the page numbers. I can buy that, but thousands of books? No way. Very impressive trick though.

If he has memorised these books, he only needs to memorise the first few words of each page. Also, it's a bit of a coincidence that the books chosen are all well known classics. I think the books were not at all randomly chosen! 😁
