I had been thinking the same thing. Norm Abrams is Bob Ross with power tools. I’ve been watching these to relax. There’s something calming about Norm’s demeanour. 😊 That said, there is one difference - no “happy little accidents”. I don’t think any accident with power tools could be happy. 😂

Saw this show when it first aired and the only thing that really stuck: When Norm trolled us with his router collection. :^) Looking back, you'd think the morticing tool would have impressed me more.

@ 2:09 I've never built anything out of heart pine, before! That ladder is a great example of 1 good project, yet therefore is "sleeker than ever before!" Besides, the smell of that resin is beautiful, when filled in the workshop!

You got to be pretty tight with your "boss" for him to let you film at his pad. Dear Norm and good ole' Russ. Is anyone else around here tinkering with the idea of silently shipping them?

Is Russ the "gardening friend" that Norm talks about at the beginning? If so, I bet that old ladder is still around and in great shape.

Before we use any power tools, let’s take a moment to talk about shop safety. Be sure to read, understand, and follow all the safety rules that come with your power tools. Knowing how to use your power tools properly will greatly reduce the risk of personal injury. And remember this: There is no more important safety rule, than to wear these, safety glasses.
