I was honestly surprised how straightforward it was as long as you read. Outside of not knowing the woodsman's strength buff the first attempt, I had no trouble. Chesed with Yan + Yae office librarians was enough to make it work.

(Spoilers at the bottom of the comment) Truly my favorite floor. I really like how it focuses on sustaining the whole team (especially the ego pages with team-wide page draw/light recovery). I like putting Chesed with Nikolai's page and Courage as a "leader" buffing up the entire party and Yan giving strength/protection prescripts to Mirinae so her passive can spread the buff to a random other ally. And that's not even mentioning 0 cost distorted blades with magic trick or the other abno page that lowers cost for dealing damage/kills. Plus Emerald, for the action economy. I beat Black Silence just yesterday using only this floor, no deaths and no staggers. Goes to show how power of friendship can be really cool.

Chesed's floor is something I haven't experimented with at all, there are some extremely busted pages for sure. Someone with more experience with it would be able to get the most out of it though. Grats on your successful Roland bullying

I just want to drop this in because I was being really dumb in the last phase but if you put the Ozma page on your purple tear, very important, do not stance change. I will repeat again. DO NOT STANCE CHANGE. DO NOT STANCE CHANGE WHEN YOU PLACE OZMA ON PURPLE TEAR. if you stance change on purple tear with the pages that you get from the Ozma card, it gets rid of the Metamorphosis page on the anger phase of the boss and that costed me my hour long run because I was being an idiot I appreciate your guides very much still and for the help its brought to me!

I really liked that strategy you used for Faded Memories, that's such a nasty way to trivialize the phase lol. You can also farm emotion coins on the first phase if you so please. Quite a nice way to headstart your steamrolling of the realization. And if you're feeling quite feisty, this realization is one of the few situations where Rake becomes useful. You can take Rake, put it on a librarian, then later on in the final phase, have them be the Scaredy Cat. You can actually stagger the skulls and *get their instant kill pages, for use on Roland.* And a note, if you think that having a librarian dead before the last phase would make it impossible, no need to worry! This realization has the courtesy to revive all your librarians right as the last phase starts, so you can atleast finish the realization. Anyways, personal opinion on Chesed's floor coming up: I really like Chesed's floor after playing around with it. Courage + More power boosting Abno pages on your Yan turns him into a super soldier that quite literally destroys anything, "My friends are my power, and I'm theirs!" style. If you just so happen to be running the Distorted Blade + Clone spam combo, then you can also add on Magic Trick to... for a lack of a better term, nuke the opponent to high heavens. Even disregarding that combination, the abno pages in Chesed's floor are quite versatile. Magic Trick by itself can completely destroy your Light + Card economy in a good way if you time it right, Oblivion is a good panic button, Road Home is good when you're protecting a valuable librarian, Emerald is for light restoration + gambling on attack cancelling, Gleaning is just a better Mind Hauler, and all of Woodsman's pages are just extremely good. The EGO pages might be a bit lacking in terms of damage, but their utility and... mass-attackiness really make up for it. False Throne is especially funny when you're down on your last legs and you need one final push to blast the enemy away for a win. Or, atleast for the next floor's fight.

I was pretty happy with the faded menories cheese lol. Regarding farming emo coins in phase 1, I'm not sure how effective it would be in terms of clear speed vs just nuking it down, but it'd be pretty funny rolling up to phase 2 with everyone emo 5. I've found that Chesed has a lot of utility in the pages (aside from a few that just jack up your power) which is solid. The one thing it lacks is hp sustain other than powder of life, but that can be suplemented easily enough with hauler or keeping in stride.

Chesed's floor really is unloved unfortunately. Despite that, it's probably one of the best floors for playing the game normally (non meme/solo strats). It's really a case where enough of the emotion cards are either jank or kind of bad that people tend to overlook just how strong the good emotion cards are. Gleaning, A Warm Heart, Courage, and Cardiae are all simple and strong, but a floor that does normal stuff around the time when you've recently realized the floor of language and unlocked Binah is a little bit unexciting in comparison. Also, build-wise, I think you're really neglecting the best passive in the game (imho): Mind Hauler. I think Health restoration passives are kind of a lot worse than keeping people from getting staggered, especially when the wrong person getting staggered during The Road Home can instantly lose you the realization. Also, I'm not sure if you're aware of this trick, but you can only have 8 eight cards in hand normally (excepting ammo), so running a single-use card (think allows you to play with your whole hand every turn (and always have the light restoration to fill slots) for very consistent high-emotion turns and allows you to run more specific use cards with the deck. Besides that, I always recommend just swapping in unlocks for long single-phase fights like realizations.

Yeah, Chesed definitely has some extremely strong pages, I definitely think he's one of the stronger floors just because of gleaning + courage. I like mind hauler a lot, but I noticed that during my testing for this fight, I never got staggered, so I figured I'd just take health hauler. Generally I tend to prefer HP restoration over SR restoration because I can restore some SR with evade dice, but the haulers are really close, and it depends on my deck composition somewhat. I use the single-use trick somewhat, but there aren't too many good ones (RS:L is the only one I can think of that is good) so it doesn't come up too much. I'm a huge fan of unlock in the realizations and other long fights as well.

Yeah it shaves off a few scenes at the end, and some of the other pages you can get earlier in the fight are strong as well

If you want to make Phase 5 faster just choose Rake abno page first, since it copy an card from the enemy you stagger with the choosen librarian it would go awesome with the one than will have the scaredy cat role, you just gotta get to the False Throne (Cat) phase, which is when the "Scowling face" Appear. Those have an card called "Burn Up" this one will kill the choosen target at the instant if they dont have courage status. Remember than the Librarian you'll choose as scaredy cat MUST have Rake abno like I said before, Once you get Burn Up by staggering the faces just use it againts False Throne and done.

Oddly enough this, tiph, and geb realizations all were kind of cakewalks. I did geb and chesed both 1st try and tiph in 2 cause i pulled a funny and double tapped space. Proud to say i didnt even watch the guide besides for the last phases of chesed and tiph

Yeah honestly none of the realizations are extremely difficult, binah and hokma are probably the hardest of the bunch. The main difficulty for tiph and chesed is understanding what the hell you're supposed to do on the last phase

Notably on first phase you wanna make sure you still clash with the scarecrow that's attempting to steal pages even if you're going to kill Roland that scene. The phase transitions after combat ends, not immediately after Roland dies. So if you put everything on Roland then the Scarecrow is gonna free hit a lot and you DO NOT get the pages back when the phase changes. I got got by that and didnt notice until during Homing Instinct when I wondered why my Yan didn't have Baleful Brand anymore lol. Pretty sure I lost that attempt to Yujin getting targeted by Homing Instinct anyhow though. Using blunt stance to just completely shit on Pained Memories is funny as hell. Phase 5 is cute, but it drags on a little bit longer than it needs to honestly. Also if you bring an Ammo deck be careful about how you use it, because the Thumb ranged pages can and will discard your special pages. Not that I'd know that for any reason in particular :) Honestly the literal only times I used Chesed's floor was during their abno battles and their Ensemble fight. None of their abno pages really inspired anything in me, so I didn't even feel like taking it as a back up floor in longer receptions.

Yeah making sure you always clash with harvest wisdom is imperative to not randomly losing because you could get left without clashing pages, or page draw, or light regen... I was pretty happy with my blunt stance strat so I'm glad you liked it. I agree that phase 5 goes on a bit too long (at least it's not magic bullet levels tho) I also never really used Chesed's floor. My 1st playthrough I just used Gebura, and this time round I'm using Malkuth

Also, bonus note, you can stall at the first phase to build up emotion level if you want. It's really good for it, specifically for positive emotion coins. Though, the realization isn't tough enough to warrant such a tactic, but it's there!
