If there were no strings attached, then your channel wouldn't be half as fun! :D And these sound pretty cool. I love those swiping pizzicatos.

Definitely a library of my taste, it’s not perfect but it sure has some unique sounds that I really like, maybe in a near future I’ll be getting it, wonderful video as always Cory, loved the demo song it reminded me of the score for maniac (the netflix mini series)

Hm, not as dynamic as I would like it to be. The first legato example sounds like a brickwalled piece of audio - all notes have the same level and same tembre that is just not believable. The bowed violins tone reminds me of hurdy gurdy for some reason. Pads are nice though. The ending piece is great, Cory. Do I want to get it for 150 euro? Nah.

is the tremolo just kind of random like that? or are you changing the dynamics of it with something else? I was hoping it was more like a traditional tremolo where it is tight and focused.

Good evening. I need some help in the installation of AMBER. I saw the video but a different issue is creeping up at my computer. Can any one of your students come over Zoom or anything to help me out as I'll be able to express my issues more coherently? Would be thankful for the help. Thanks.

Hi everyone! thx Cory for this one.... deciding between getting this one, which includes the whole chamber participants, or the new Poiesis Cello , which for an intro price of about 90 usd. That one is a crossfading A/B library mainly for textures, which includes a second library of shorts, with three articulations..... Both are different. I guess this one offers maybe more for being the complete violin 1,2,viola, cello and bass... The other one is for an independent developer which I'd love to support. But this is too good, to just ignore it :-)

@@CoryPelizzari I own Afflatus and cinematic strings 2 and I think I won't need any more strings libraries but sunset strings. With those three libraries I could do a lot of stuff for a very looong time. I hope realitone releases that update soon so I can watch your review hehehe.

@@CoryPelizzari Thanks Cory for your kind reply and feedback. From your extensive experience working with sample libraries, do you find the 'Progressive vibrato' in this Amber Strings library enough to achieve good expressive performances? Watching a video like yours here, although very well done and informative, it is never the same as putting one's hands on a library.... Many thanks and blessings, Max

@@maxtofone It will handle semi-expressive passages by using the legato sustains, which will suit pieces more towards the earthy and experimental kind rather than the emotive side. You can however add the legato transitions to the expressive swells for a much more emotive sound.
