Hi Kate, I’m considering asking an history book of English kings and queens. Which one do you recommend ? I found a book of Ian Crofton on Belgian websites.

Yes, I think the Crofton book is good as an overview. There's also a nice concise guide by Richard Cavendish www.amazon.co.uk/Kings-Queens-Concise-Richard-Cavendish/dp/0715323768 I suppose it depends what you are looking for.
