It’s bizarre to me. I had a state education & loved history & biology yet learned next to nothing. Went on to teach myself about wildlife & respect it & work for the Duke & Duchess of Bedford & learned that an ancestor lost Streatham & Covent Garden in a gambling debt!! 🤣 the spice of life.
