+ Libreoffice has a ton of customization options, plugins and extensions, and on Linux it automatically sets your gtk theme onto the app and the interface can be tweaked to your liking... Libreoffice is truly awesome. MS Office still takes the edge in features and support, but for a home user Libreoffice is more than enough.

Problem is people just want to use what others are using and LO lacks marketing budget.
