Sir, tell me the definition of any permanent job? LIC DO job is also a permanent job and every job has own risk factor If you as a police officer not doing your duty then department will suspend you. This is permanent job and after 5 year you can get promotion as ABMs in the cadre of AAO. But mostly Development Officer do not prefer to take promotion because of liberty. In this job mostly you have not to maintain 10-5 in office.

Dear Friends Lic ado is the worst job ever and I seriously mean it from the core of my heart a bank clerk job even in a cooperative bank (with salary 15000 per month) forget about a nationalized or private bank is far better than this job or u can say a class 4 or class 3 job in government sector like lekhpal, junior assistant , patwari , court clerk , track supervisor in trains are far better jobs than being a Lic ado... first of all in the notification published they have not told u the truth that it is a contract based job where u will have to fulfill ur targets till u are 60 years of age else u can be terminated from service even a day before u retirement forget about u newbies who are applying...they have mentioned in notification that it is a sales supervision job which is absolutely wrong and false and they should be taken to court for this...see once u join lic u will see that most development officers are about 55 years of age as mostly youngsters who join leave after 1-2 years or maybe 5-6 years ...ur first 6 months are known as apprentice development officer hence the name ADO where u will be given stipend of about 25k and training in LIC as they say but there is nothing like training class 1 class 3 officers will look down upon u ... will make ur fun that u were bad in studies that is why u have joined in this job as everyone runs away from insurance and what was the point to study so much when u had to join LIC as a salesperson only...they will shout at you ... since class 1 and class 3 officers are busy gossiping having tea snacks and watching KZbin videos all day in branch they just dont work and if u tell them to work they will snap back at you ( jao jis ko jao complain kardo hum kaam nahi karenge jo karna ha kardo) also there is castesim in LIC like SC act toh logo pe daily lagta haan aur lagwaye jate he especially Development officers pe...chalo after being neglected for 6 months u will become a Probationary Development officer PDO where u have to recruit agents by going out in open market and nobody and I mean it nobody is going to help u in any way in that...recruiting a agent costs around rs 1200 which u have to pay from ur own pocket as agents are generally poor people who dont have any money so for every agent rs 1200 u have to pay from ur own pocket ...why anyone would do a menial job like becoming a lic agent ? He will show to u that he is doing a big favor to you by taking lic agency...even passing lic agents exam is not easy these days so once ur agent fails in the exam u have to again deposit rs 600 as his exam fees and yes it takes a lot of time to reappear again for the exam and the clock is ticking for u that in 12 months if u dont complete ur target u would be kicked...even after ur extreme hard work ur agent pass the exam what's the guarantee he will work ? Is he getting any salary ? No ... once he meets 4-5 people and abused by them that it's better to beg rather than become a insurance agent he will stop receiving ur calls....change his home...avoid u...daily u have to meet street vendors, tempo rickshaw pullers farmers , salesman to become lic agent, butter them spend money on them and than they will start avoiding you as life insurance is an unsought good and nobody purchases it that easily....aspirants can even ask there neighbour's, friends relatives to become lic agents or take life insurance policy from that day onwards they will start avoiding u , make fun of you , stop receiving ur calls and I really mean it....anyways whatever salary u will get suppose 5lakhs in a year .... u will have to bring scheduled premium of rs 27 lakhs a little more than 5 times of ur annual salary...and that has to be regular premium of policy term of at least 15 years not single premium as it is only given 5percent weightage in ur premium...for example if u bring 1 crore premium of single policy ( which is a very very big amount and not possible for a newbie to bring ) it would be counted as 5 lakhs only in ur premium and remember u have to bring 27 lakh to get confirmed so even after bringing such a huge amount u are still 22 lakh short from ur target....there is rebate concept in market I.e 50 percent of total first year premium is given by agents for big policies so for that you have to pay from your own pocket thus a newly recruited PDO should have at least 15 to 20 lakh money ready with him to confirmed a lot of people he done it invested money to get confirmed but my dear friends confirmation is an eyewash here even after getting confirmed u have to every year fulfill ur targets else there would be deferments and than termination from service like after 20 25 years or 4 or 5 years of service DO are getting terminated and kicked out ....this it's a thankless job....PDO who dont work salary is stopped , no meal coupon, no allowances , they would be abused by BM everyday infront of all....and yes a lot Development officers are committing suicide now as they dont hv anywhere to go once they cross 30-35 years of age.... This job is gud for agents of lic .... there should be no recruitment from open market....yes if u are ready to invest 20 lakhs of ur family hard earned money , u are thick skin and dont get affected if people abuse u, staff doesn't work and u are running from pillar to post to complete ur target....welcome to lic than...but yes even after confirmation ur job ur salary ur meal coupon ur allowances or even ur life is not safe....a lot of Development officers develop chronic disease like heart trouble, cancer, gastric and family problems in life box most of the time from moring 5am to 11 PM they are out on field to save their jobs beg street vendors class 4 employees to become lic agents as a person from a gud family is never going to join Lic as a agent for sure( ask ur relatives neighbour's if u want to ) ....if u are ready to work 18 hours per day non stop for 10 years at least for rs 30k as salary and ready to invest 20 lakhs for confirmation and about 4-5 laks for the next 10 years to save ur job risking ur health and family....welcome to lic .... as if u complete 10 years of service and get terminated after that they will make u clerk in lic (what a joke ) with salary of rs 20 k per month which a 21 year old clerk will join....trust me it's the worst job ever u will realize it later...its better to do own business rather than Lic...best of luck...(.I left lic after 1 year and I am in bank now as a scale 3 officer )

Isme policy bechana nahi hai... Common sense lagao... Isme policy ko bechwana hai agent ke through wo v team banakar aur agent ke work ko superwise karna hai like an HR/Marketing manager... Agent ko Hire and Fire v karna hai... Ek Bank Po to direct policy sell karta hai like insurance agent with targets allotted by bank manager then a/c to you bank po=insurance agent...??

1 more thing apko to exm clear krni hi pdegi and sath hi sath ap jishe agent bnana chahte ho ushe bhi irda ki ek exam hoti hai wo clr krni hogi jisme lic and agency se related questions puche jate hai wo bhi clr hogi uski tabhi wo agent ban paega....and i think target 15 agent bnane hai kuch 5 month ke andar aur un sabhi ki exam bhi clear karwani hai..... lastly me apko demotivate nai kar raha hu... only iski reality bta rha hu.........

sir, i filled this form from south central zone, i am from jharkhand, so, what i have to do.....is it beneficial for me if i wrote this exam ?? or i have to skip this. becz if i m selected there then i have to full fill tthe target.

Dear Friends Lic ado is the worst job ever and I seriously mean it from the core of my heart a bank clerk job even in a cooperative bank (with salary 15000 per month) forget about a nationalized or private bank is far better than this job or u can say a class 4 or class 3 job in government sector like lekhpal, junior assistant , patwari , court clerk , track supervisor in trains are far better jobs than being a Lic ado... first of all in the notification published they have not told u the truth that it is a contract based job where u will have to fulfill ur targets till u are 60 years of age else u can be terminated from service even a day before u retirement forget about u newbies who are applying...they have mentioned in notification that it is a sales supervision job which is absolutely wrong and false and they should be taken to court for this...see once u join lic u will see that most development officers are about 55 years of age as mostly youngsters who join leave after 1-2 years or maybe 5-6 years ...ur first 6 months are known as apprentice development officer hence the name ADO where u will be given stipend of about 25k and training in LIC as they say but there is nothing like training class 1 class 3 officers will look down upon u ... will make ur fun that u were bad in studies that is why u have joined in this job as everyone runs away from insurance and what was the point to study so much when u had to join LIC as a salesperson only...they will shout at you ... since class 1 and class 3 officers are busy gossiping having tea snacks and watching KZbin videos all day in branch they just dont work and if u tell them to work they will snap back at you ( jao jis ko jao complain kardo hum kaam nahi karenge jo karna ha kardo) also there is castesim in LIC like SC act toh logo pe daily lagta haan aur lagwaye jate he especially Development officers pe...chalo after being neglected for 6 months u will become a Probationary Development officer PDO where u have to recruit agents by going out in open market and nobody and I mean it nobody is going to help u in any way in that...recruiting a agent costs around rs 1200 which u have to pay from ur own pocket as agents are generally poor people who dont have any money so for every agent rs 1200 u have to pay from ur own pocket ...why anyone would do a menial job like becoming a lic agent ? He will show to u that he is doing a big favor to you by taking lic agency...even passing lic agents exam is not easy these days so once ur agent fails in the exam u have to again deposit rs 600 as his exam fees and yes it takes a lot of time to reappear again for the exam and the clock is ticking for u that in 12 months if u dont complete ur target u would be kicked...even after ur extreme hard work ur agent pass the exam what's the guarantee he will work ? Is he getting any salary ? No ... once he meets 4-5 people and abused by them that it's better to beg rather than become a insurance agent he will stop receiving ur calls....change his home...avoid u...daily u have to meet street vendors, tempo rickshaw pullers farmers , salesman to become lic agent, butter them spend money on them and than they will start avoiding you as life insurance is an unsought good and nobody purchases it that easily....aspirants can even ask there neighbour's, friends relatives to become lic agents or take life insurance policy from that day onwards they will start avoiding u , make fun of you , stop receiving ur calls and I really mean it....anyways whatever salary u will get suppose 5lakhs in a year .... u will have to bring scheduled premium of rs 27 lakhs a little more than 5 times of ur annual salary...and that has to be regular premium of policy term of at least 15 years not single premium as it is only given 5percent weightage in ur premium...for example if u bring 1 crore premium of single policy ( which is a very very big amount and not possible for a newbie to bring ) it would be counted as 5 lakhs only in ur premium and remember u have to bring 27 lakh to get confirmed so even after bringing such a huge amount u are still 22 lakh short from ur target....there is rebate concept in market I.e 50 percent of total first year premium is given by agents for big policies so for that you have to pay from your own pocket thus a newly recruited PDO should have at least 15 to 20 lakh money ready with him to confirmed a lot of people he done it invested money to get confirmed but my dear friends confirmation is an eyewash here even after getting confirmed u have to every year fulfill ur targets else there would be deferments and than termination from service like after 20 25 years or 4 or 5 years of service DO are getting terminated and kicked out ....this it's a thankless job....PDO who dont work salary is stopped , no meal coupon, no allowances , they would be abused by BM everyday infront of all....and yes a lot Development officers are committing suicide now as they dont hv anywhere to go once they cross 30-35 years of age.... This job is gud for agents of lic .... there should be no recruitment from open market....yes if u are ready to invest 20 lakhs of ur family hard earned money , u are thick skin and dont get affected if people abuse u, staff doesn't work and u are running from pillar to post to complete ur target....welcome to lic than...but yes even after confirmation ur job ur salary ur meal coupon ur allowances or even ur life is not safe....a lot of Development officers develop chronic disease like heart trouble, cancer, gastric and family problems in life box most of the time from moring 5am to 11 PM they are out on field to save their jobs beg street vendors class 4 employees to become lic agents as a person from a gud family is never going to join Lic as a agent for sure( ask ur relatives neighbour's if u want to ) ....if u are ready to work 18 hours per day non stop for 10 years at least for rs 30k as salary and ready to invest 20 lakhs for confirmation and about 4-5 laks for the next 10 years to save ur job risking ur health and family....welcome to lic .... as if u complete 10 years of service and get terminated after that they will make u clerk in lic (what a joke ) with salary of rs 20 k per month which a 21 year old clerk will join....trust me it's the worst job ever u will realize it later...its better to do own business rather than Lic...best of luck...(.I left lic after 1 year and I am in bank now as a scale 3 officer )
