Q shows Bond his new gadgets. Pam nearly kills Bond and Q when she takes a photo and a laser comes out instead of the flash.
Q (Desmond Llewelyn): "Now this looks like an ordinary camera, doesn't it?"
Pam (Carey Lowell): "What kind of film does it take? 120?"
Q: "No, .220, high velocity."
Q: "Now, this is a signature gun, and that is an optical palm reader. And if I plug this into the bottom like that. Once I've programmed it. Now, nobody can use the gun but you."
Pam Bouvier: "Smile, boys."
Q: "Don't use the flash! Stop fiddling about with things you don't understand. You might easily have killed him."
Pam Bouvier: "That's odd."

One of the most underrated all-time beauties. I can't think of a better looking woman (though I'll spare you all my athletic bent on women that would cause me to veer in favor of unknown women, there y sticking to "traditional" feminine hotness). There is a gun nowadays that has the biometrics thing. I don't remember the name, but I think that's more of a gimmick than actually useful. This would only be useful in a chance of somebody taking the gun from you, but for home defense, the biometric check could take longer than you need, so this would only be used in guns used on the range, which means there will be zero moments when the biometrics will fail...
