No 8 can't be filmed fron an oil rig.. Rigs don't "bob" up and down on the waves like a boat, nor do they have a bow, which is where it's being filmed. The rig appears to be off to the top left in the clip.. Also, #2, and probably the glacier calving too, are not really waves, but tsunamis, as is very apparent on #2's second instance where it displays classic tsunami behavior...

The wave in greenland was the 2017 tsunami caused by a cliff face falling into the bay. Number one is technically a tidal surge that happens multipal times every day in india.
