We had a problem pumping anti-freeze in through the city water port. It's important to turn the screen-washer inside the port so that the screen points in to open the check valve.

Wonderful video and resource - thank you! I followed along step by step as I winterized my Ekko. One concern is that when I drained the Truma the 2nd time at the end, I didn’t see pink antifreeze. Seemed like more water. I used 3+ bottles during the process so have to believe I had enough. Thoughts?

Good afternoon! If you followed the steps, which I'm sure you did, you should be fine. The Truma is one small part, in terms of volume, not necessarily of importance, of the overall water system in the EKKO

This is the first I have seen where the antifreeze does not stay in the camper during the winter. This does not match the process in the manual. Is this something new? Thanks

Good morning! Thank you for your note! You can winterize using either the dry or wet method. Dry meaning with compressed air and then adding RV antifreeze in the traps and water pump. Wet meaning with cycling RV antifreeze through. With either you will want to thoroughly flush out during de-winterization. Hope this helps!

Why do you need the antifreeze if all the water has been drained?

It is a 4 season rig but do you want to burn propane in your water heater and furnace all winter long, even when you are not using the RV, just parking/storing it?
