Man that guitar sounds really good! It’s still got a Strat like tone but just meaner! I’ve pretty much settled on a Strat as my number one guitar. Yngwie is a killer!

Hey, thanks Leo! Dude, I was just thinking the same thing today when I was recording. I was like, “this still sounds like a strat.” Its the only one I have. How come you chose the strat as your number 1? Just curious cuz this is my first. Ive had a couple teles but no strat.

@@guitarzen7080 Well it’s really because of the sound Jimi Hendrix gets on the Band of Gypsys shows that were filmed. That’s what did it. Over the years I’ve grown to really love the unique sound of the single coils. They have a quacky sound that I dig lol. Once I understood them I realized I could get almost any sound out of them but still have that unique Strat quality. Maybe I should make a video explaining why because this reply will be way too long 🤣

@@guitarzen7080 Ok I will! Also, if you wanna hear a killer, mean ass tone from a stock strat check out Cold Hearted by Gary Moore. A lot of that 80s era Gary Moore has that strat on those records and his tone is vicious!!!

I’m not positive but I believe I was tuned to E standard…or just south of that. Thanks for watching!
