Battle PT is the most effective training out there, on my basic I wish we did more of this and less "gym circuit" PT.

I'm based at the RAF RTC and they do loads of PT. Still weak as fuck and break at the sign of a bergen.

That's why there should be more emphasis placed on functional "Battle PT", including pack work. Soldiers need to be ready to fight, and their training should reflect that.

Battle pt is old fashioned, not based on evidence and gets bods injured; good pt should progressively build someone up to a physical peak. Army phys is changing for the better on actual researched evidence
