I have no information but in my head they didn’t, unless Cal’s divorce was right after they met. Because he wouldn’t have cheated on his wife, and he wouldn’t have slept with Gillian as a “rebound” once he was in love with her. I also wonder if she was already married when they met.

She IS too good for him, and he knows it too. I think that’s partly why he didn’t make a move. But then she is too good for almost anyone, most of all the guys she’s been with on the show.
