Love these VoicePlay Loops. They have so much fun. Yes, you missed Loop 1. I think it is great that they each have little recording studios in their homes. You need to go to Huldra Drakos' channel and enjoy their lives on stage with Chicago last month.

Just letting you know... Voiceplay released their Christmas video on their Patreon Friday. It is hilarious. Geoff posted Sunday morning that his is almost ready to be released on his Patreon. So they should be coming to KZbin soon.

All of their shorter videos leave us wanting more. Jeff and Layne are always having fun at the other’s expense. I’m sure Layne knew it. But Cesar is quite a bit younger than the rest and from more of a Latin background so I’m not surprised he didn’t know it. (And he had already gotten the rest of the guys with his choice for the first loop!)

This is a game. When they do a new performance the arranger actually plans it down to the detail -- records the part exactly as he wants it - and passes out all of the parts. When an individual singer has another idea, they have to take it back and work it through with the arranger, but the final decision always belongs to the arranger. This is really loose and improvisational - great fun, but from Layne's and Geoff's descriptions, it isn't how they usually work.

I really enjoy these because I know nothing about how music is created, arranged, recorded or mixed. So this gives me a little insight into the process. I think that people like this have a portion of their brain that is open but that remains closed to the rest of us. I think that about people who can draw and paint as well. I wish I could see, or in the case of music, hear in my head what they are accessing. I think that Geoff was just teasing about Layne.. or I hope so. I was surprised about Cesar, but on another channel a comment her made the point that he is considerably younger and he is from Puerto Rico. The King probably wasn’t real popular there.

Yes this was the second one, and more elaborate that their first attempt. It is fun to watch how they do it. It was originally Cesar's idea but they guys went with it. I watch a lot of reactors and you'd be amazed how many younger people don't know Elvis at all! I hope you will see and respond to Geoff's redemption of All I Want For Christmas. (short) You will forget Mariah forever after hearing it.

It's funny to hear Cesar talking about a "generational divide." Does anyone know how much age difference there is between them? Oh, speaking of Cesar, you should react to some of his solo work sometime. Something about some of his songs remind me of Adam Lambert's solo work.

About 10 years. Cesar and Omar were both 33 at the time Omsr was on the Voice. I think Eli is 2 or 3 year older than Geoff and Layne. Believe they're both from 1980.
