Misanthrope69 I think these trailers are used in Europe to fit on smaller roads and streets. They appear to be more complex and expensive to buy and run compared to the longer but simpler trailers used in the US. The difference in design might also be driven by different regulations in maximum axle loading, vehicle length, etc.

That makes perfect sense. I was thinking from a drivers stand point it would be appealing to have the steerable axles. Pretty dang cool imho.
