Liebherr - TCC 78000

The TCC 78000 with its 1600 tonnes lifting capacity is a new milestone of the Liebherr plant in Rostock and every single employee has his share in it. The Travelling Cargo Crane will not only support Liebherr with the loading and assembly of ever larger maritime cranes from its own production, but will also offer other companies the opportunity to handle heavy loads at Rostock Port.

You know... The thing that always gets me with large cranes of any kind is how the operator visually operates them - I honestly can't say I'd be comfortable operating such a monster without something like a 3rd person perspective of the whole thing provided by a camera drone "fixed" to a position in the sky in relation to the vehicle and attached to it via an umbilical data/power cable for constant operation.

That's the whole point it got built. It Was needed to install parts of the hlc 295000, Liebherrs biggest crane to date.
