Liechtenstein, officially the Principality of Liechtenstein is a small landlocked country in the Upper Rhine Valley between Austria in the east and Switzerland in the west.
From north to south, the country is about 24 km (15 mi) long, an area of 160 km² (61.8 sq mi) making the country the sixth-smallest independent nation in the world.
Today Liechtenstein has a population of 37,600 people (in 2015), and the national capital is Vaduz. The spoken language is German.
The United Nations ranks Liechtenstein 2015 as the country with the highest GDP per capita, ahead of Monaco and Luxembourg.
The economy of Liechtenstein is mainly based on manufacturing, and the service sectors, especially the financial field. The country is a specialized financial center with strong international connections. Liechtenstein is a member of the European Economic Area (EEA) and it partakes in a customs union with Switzerland and uses the Swiss franc as the national currency.
We know that micro countries are quite interesting, especially for our industry.
But how difficult is it to get citizenship or a residency in Liechtenstein?
Is it still considered a tax haven, and what are taxes like in this country? What about banking? Forming a company?
Today we're covering all you need to know about Liechtenstein!
Who are we and what do we do?
We are Offshore Citizen team. We help people become global: get a second passport, set up a second residency, pay less taxes, do banking abroad, etc.
We have lots of interesting articles on different topics, we have relevant information up to date.

I think people who live in Liechtenstein are among the luckiest in the world. The Prince is an accomplished economist and is committed to personal freedom. He's one of the wealthiest monarchs in Europe but is not nearly as famous as other monarchs.

@@OffshoreCitizen Honestly my first time. I was bombarded with the usual Portugal news and many other information around was too abstract, like how crypto tax will hurt you. Nothing that had substance. This was refreshing.

Foreign nationals wishing to live in Liechtenstein require a residence pemit. A total of 89 such residence permits are granted by the government each year to citizens of EEA states and Swiss nationals. In special cases residence permits can be awarded to citizens of other countries.

Wow, I learned so much from this video on Liechtenstein! It's amazing how such a small country has such a rich and complex history. If you're interested in learning more about Liechtenstein, I highly recommend the book 'A Journey Through Liechtenstein's Fascinating History' by Lea Marie Nigg. It's a beautiful and informative book that offers a unique perspective on Liechtenstein's history!

@@New_York2024 Switzerland has the highest disposable income level in the world & highest salaries based on global rankings however micro states are probably exempt from that statistic due to lack of data, so it could be Monaco/Liechtenstein, IDK.

Guess not... Can I buy property in Liechtenstein? The purchase of real estate by foreigners is strictly regulated. Buying property requires 3 years residency first. The European Community has given Liechtenstein the freedom to restrict entrance due to its small size.
