Going out strong at the end of September with the new crowdfunding games. Plus, campaigns with rules, campaigns without rulebooks, and campaigns with rulebooks that aren't easy to find (for me at least!!).
New this week includes: Nature from Northstar, Speakeasy from Eagle Gryphon Games, an expansion Council of the Fallen for Deliverance from Lowen Games, Garphill's latest in the Anarchy & Skara Brae, as well as Inside Up's next in the form of Ice & Idols. Hopefully I don't screw up too much talking about them today!...hopefully....

I like the idea of Nature but I'm leaning against backing it. Given the lack of discounts on modules when gotten as add-ons, if you want 2+ modules then it is probably better to get the big box, especially if you are interested in the last 2 modules. I was thinking about getting Story of Many and then I saw it... It is too big for me. I really like the theme of West Story but it seems very expensive after shipping. Another thing to note is that if you are interested in solo play you need to get the expansion which will probably be hard to find later. For Parks & Potions it seems that there will be a second expansion (Bugs & Bottles) available in the pledge manager. I'm guessing it will be another $15. This is one where I don't see much extra value in the deluxe version.

I decided to back Speakeasy. My first Lacerda and I love the theme. Ready for something as heavy as it seems.

Paying more than a regular game to not use half of the game because modules, yeah no thanks. If modules aren't packed in the base game then they are just designed to get more money from you.

You always say you need more on the page lol... some of these campaigns give you that gameplay overview with GIFS. I personally believe that's enough to know if you would like it or not. If you really are more interested in mechanisms, I would think people go to the rulebook after that. Not saying these pages are perfect, but I think some of them are okay.
