Actually the platinum in itself is pretty easy to get compared to other souls games but the first playthrough was really hard.

God I love this game so much. I'm not big into the souls genre nor do I think I'd even heard of this game prior to it getting released, but I tried it on a whim just fell in love with it. The music, the atmosphere, the astonishingly appropriate adaptation of Pinocchio lore. THE COMBAT. Handle-head assembly, grindstones, legion arms, the bosses. Everything is just so so good in this game.

you need to buy 5 thermites and just chuck them at him, while your specter is keeping him distracted, and then finish him off with a couple swings, i said what you said but i tried what i just told you and if you do that then its the easiest boss in the game and should take you about 55 seconds to beat him. just keep your distance from him and his siblings. you got this

I found it far easier than DS1 and Sekiro. Sekiro especially. There's no summon to help you, no overleveling, no changing weapons, etc. You either improve or you won't progress in Sekiro. Lies of P allows you so much freedom (which I actually love) in weaponry, handle changes, defensive parts, and quartz upgrades that make it easy to mold P into whatever the boss encounter requires. That makes it one of the most accessible Souls-likes. The only boss that I got stuck on was fricking Laxasia, but I think that goes for most people. All of a sudden you're dealing with a boss that goes airborne when the rest of the game had none of that.

I congratulate you for your big job. It should be a huge pleasure to play that game with all the voices in his mother language. I am french and unfortunally there isn't french voices on this game (not like on Bloodborne), except that beautifull song of the 30tine years, that is very emotional like the rest of the game. This game made me crazy like you. And like you I have platined the game (and even level up my character to the maximal level at each attribut). I love definitly that game, even if I hate his dificulty ;)

True. I used the summon twice in my first playthrough. The first one was before the Scrapped Watchman because I didn't know what this pool of blue water did and then with the first Black Rabbit Brotherhood fight because I was mad. In the 2 and 3 playthroughs I didn't summon anything.

@@vladimirkozyrev3617 It's not required, it's just there in case you don't feel like trying to deal with the boss alone or if you're done of trying to kill it solo, but after like half the game it becomes a "makes phase 1 easier" bc the bosses just destroy the specter with status or raw dmg.

​@@braxinIVto me laxasia was very easy compared to simon manus Im telling you simon is the hardest boss I've ever fought in any souls or soulslike game and nothing comes even close It took me HUNDREDS of death to beat him I even tried it with the summon which made him even HARDER I would get closer to beating him without the summon than with I mean you'd think the summon is there to help but for this boss I really do believe it makes it actually harder because his attack range is huge and he WILL hit you even from behind and if his attacks aren't directed towards you its harder to parry or dodge them. Laxasia was decently hard but not that bad honestly but this simon manus guy is so hard but like he feels hard for the wrong reasons and is so deceptive too you think you got and open window for attack welp no get destroyed he doesn't stop attacking and when he does well hthe map will attack you

Yep - that's why I saved the worst ending for last, so I wouldn't have to fight that puppet on NG++. Still man, be proud you did it legit. Most people just cheated with a save backup so they only had to beat the game twice, instead of 3 times :).

I absolutely can't see why this game is difficult if you've played any other Souls game. It has the same issue as Lords of the Fallen in that it gives OP options like early A-S Stat scaling and the bosses are more limited in patterns with the exception of a couple. The only boss with a modicum of difficulty is Luxasia. I died more to pitfalls than anything else.

I’m sure you’ve already heard this a few times but you should really try to incorporate more perfect blocks into your combat. Not only is it really fun, but it gives you back health and contributes to stagger. Definitely play how you want to though, glad you enjoyed the game as much as I did
