Dude has an extremely underrated ability. Imagine if someone gave him a .50 cal or a 20mm shell and he used this ability amplified even further by one of his squad using their fire abilities to amp the speed of those projectiles even further. Dude would literally one shot anything in this series. Hell he may be able to slpit atoms producing energy similar to a nuclear explosion if he doesnt split open a dimension.

little details like this show how mediocre the manga is. Im reading the manga before the anime was announced and dont like it that match (the anime with the music, animation and style was a nice improvement), but apart from the mangaka drawing style is a really generic shonen, and examples like what you just said con be used to improve it, but the author prefers to give shinra deux ex machina moments and sell sex with tamaki hentai instead of developing a nice story

Given the proper speed and acceleration, he’s probably even able to penetrate a Demon infernal’s rock hard skin. If extra flames can increase the speed and acceleration even more, then Vulcan should create a flamethrower undermount for Hinawa’s rifles. Or maki should have a flamethrower to be able to create a giant sputter and flare that Hinawa can shoot his bullets through.

This was the first time I was REALLY impressed by a second generation flame user. The flashy third generation ones are clearly very powerful, but this was kind of a case of “Batman logic” where Hinawa developed gear that PERFECTLY amplifies his ability to insane levels

If extra flames can increase the speed and velocity of his bullets, then Hinawa and Maki would be a formidable tag team. Hinawa can only do fine tuned fire manipulation for his projectile manipulation, but combined with Maki’s massive fire control, she could essentially create a rail-gun for Hinawa’s projectiles. Which could potentially even penetrate a demon’s rock hard skin. (If not atoms as well). Vulcan should create a massive flamethrower for maki. With lots of fuel, maki could create a bigger and bigger sputter and flare.

This was the perfect setup for a stealthy sniper fight. Dark room, hard to see, very quiet. Both opponents are snipers at heart, and both had a distinctive mark to indicate where the other was. Archer had her red flames, Hinawa had his blue stripes. It was the perfect foil for the two of them to run around the room quietly, trying to out-Sherlock the other and for the climax to be a single bullet fired to end Archer's life from a unique position, so as to show Hinawa's intelligence that he seems to have. But we didn't get that. Instead, we got two people firing tank shells at each other and trying to kill each other with the shockwave.
