The soul session was a vibe. Turning 80 is a beautiful thing, especially if your mindset and personality are still in a good place. Sooo, I've seen ideal areas (like you mentioned you all are within walking distance of stores, etc.) just go completely down. The city allowed it to go down. A little while later gentrification happened and those houses were worth a TON! It seemed like a plan. I hope you and Tim can hold on and wait for the ultimate plan so you can cash in. I'll be glad when people stop judging and allow people to just live their lives. Maybe then the DL community will dry up! I'll see you next time.

Maybe you guys could ask your neighbors if they wanted to form a block club. If the neighbors agree you can incorporate a monthly block club dues for a small amount. The money could be used to help neighbors in need. The neighbors can elect individuals to oversee different areas of importance, such as the upkeep of the neighborhood. Some of the neighbors can come together and help her clean up the yard. She seems like she's in great need, because that house looks abandoned and unlivable. I hope this helps.
