To all those who did not understand... After she underwent the surgery.. Where her breasts were removed... She could easily play the violin... As there were no breasts she easily rest the violin on her body... And that made her happy and gave her a new interest Even in history women who were violinists underwent such surgeries to hold and play the violin for longer hours... Now that's dedication!!

Its beautiful! Also, the way i interpret is after seeing her son's card, amidst the gloom and depression, she was rooted to her own nativity ; her creativity, besides her family, son and work! There is nothing more fulfilling than creating art- music, painting anything Also, history has it that earlier professional female violinists underwent breast surgery to support the cello/violin better for long hours. The whiff of air through the window curtains was symbolic of paradigm shift. The same breast which may have had caused her some difficulty in playing the cello has now made space for her to play better. Cheers!

Hello Terribly Tiny Talkies, Could you please tell me what is the background score at 1:40 and the score she plays on the cello in the end? I suppose it is the Solveig's Song From Peer Gynt Suite no. 2, but I still can't put right to it.

Doctors have come up with a solution, of many women having breast implants at the same time as their mastectomy, which means that coming out of the surgery may not carry the same shock faced by women who wake up without one or both breasts.

Yes I completely agree.. But when their intention is to do it this way, all we can do is imagine the rest of the story. And may be this curiosity can help inspire some young upcoming film makers out there..

the details matter. the actor needs to be directed properly, especially when it comes to playing an instrument. just one dedicated look at a proper player would have told you the hand movements. those last shots fell horribly through. this is not a troll comment. it is constructive criticism. if you need further guidance, i can.provide links for you.

She had to undergo mastectomy and had her breast removed. That is what bothers her. The way in media, a woman's figure decides her beauty. That's why she gets sad when she watches the models on the TV, looks at her own pictures from the past. She was a Cello (right?) player in the past. She takes up her music again, proving that an organ does not make her who she is. A loss of a breast, doesn't make her less than what she was. :)

priyanshi jain Of coz ......it's the single ones who are still looking and after losing their breast ,chances get more slim. No one asked for your rubbish opinion anyway.....the woman in the story already had a child.....yes she will worry ,of coz she will worry but maybe 50%. Her family is complete and she has already conceived . A single person on the other hand might worry 100% and even go into severe depression. A single person never conceived or had a fulfilling sexual relation with a spouse . Their worry and despair will be doubled. See ,no one asked you and you just clicked at your own stupid conclusion . People like you are weird . Sad!
