Hi Dhaval! At IIT Bombay, over the last few years, only one or two students are admitted as RAs in MTech Chemical Engineering. Even though we will try to share their experiences. In case you want to listen to TAs in MTech Chemical Engineering, you might want to listen to Richa (kzbin.info/www/bejne/h6XXfHqcgsZjobM) and Aman (kzbin.info/www/bejne/qneYkoZ3i9V_nNE). From the placement perspective, MTech TAs and MTech RAs get to avail of the same opportunities.

@@soldierboy2 I am not sure of the exact percentage of the students who opt for PhD. However, students do join PhD after their MTech. Sometimes, MTech students get the opportunity to get converted into a PhD program in final semester.

Hi Regal, Your 12th marks should not affect the placements. However, there are a few companies that set the threshold of at least 60% throughout your academic career. Hope it helps.
