Justine has an inflated sense of entitlement expecting her teen college daughter to help take care of her children of her children if happens to her. How does it make Michael feel? Her daughter already told her no, I sure hope she didn't sign any papers.

Justine’s mother is a nurse and has seen first hand the complications that she does not want her daughter to experience. It has to be frustrating and emotional because she is still Justine’s mother so, she does not want to lose her child. I love that the grandmother spoke up and is protecting the oldest granddaughter future/education because she is not required to raise her siblings. Too often in black and brown families some women are fine with burdening the girls with child rearing and it is not okay. I believe Justine has risked her health and her life for the sake of having children with her “husband”, a husband she does not trust to raise her kids if anything were to happen to her, the lack of faith in her husbands capabilities speaks volumes.

I know a lot of focus is on Justine concerning this last pregnancy; however, Michael was also there and should be getting dragged as well. The fact that he told her mother that he would get a vasectomy and then didn't was also glossed over on the show.
