The dogs were trained to use the mat and then it was tossed over the side and drug for a few miles for cleaning. More then likely the dogs will use the swim platform and it get sloosed off with buckets.

Dear Sailing Yaba couple. 👍👌👏 Congratulations, congratulations, congratulations! 🎉 🎉 🎉 Not a drop of water in the bilge, the engine runs great and Yaba has an impressive small/little turn radius! Even the outboard engine runs. Yaba looks somehow bigger than I remembered her and definitely way more beautiful of course. I can see a lot of relaxing, grilling and partying on the boat in the future. Yaba looks quite amazing. Especially at night and especially with the spotlights that illuminate the water all around her. I'm pretty sure that you will have a wonderful life sailing her constantly. I hope that the dogs will be able to adapt to the boat/sea life. Thanks a lot for making teaching explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards luck and especially health to all involved people and dogs. 😁 ;-)

It's really awesome to see the smiles on both your faces. What a beautiful reward for so much hard work and dedication to getting Yaba floating again. Just to throw an idea out: you might want to consider installing some closed cell foam as sound insulation in your engine room. You'll still hear the engine but it wont become an annoying drone on long motoring stints or cause too much background noise on video. Either way, congratulations!

I hope at some point all those involved at that yard get a chance for a short cruise and a barbecue with you as well. Especially the older gentlemen who's almost always never seen without a cigarette, I'm sorry his name escapes me right now. The level of craftsmanship that went into this rebuild was a pleasure to watch, getting it done old school with blood, sweat and tears as they say. Looking very much forward to continuing to see what and where your up to next. Fair winds, following seas, safe travels and God Bless...

Oh yeah, and get lolly columns for bracing now before you set sail. Keep them below decks and have pieces of wood ready too. Cut some angled wedge pieces and some flat pieces that were cut-offs pieces of the hull planks. If you run aground and smash into a sharp rock it'll break the hull . Have the lolly column ready for that type of event. Brace the wedges against deck supports. Crank the screw to extend between the leak and the support. Slide a deck plate in on the broken hull/leak. Keep turning the screw until the boards are tight. They (the lolly) will save you from sinking. Get two...
