Nick Friday Jam Band was peak VI Calypso. Glad he got to bless the airwaves and woofers with his sound. Long Live Daddy Friday. And RIP Brownie.

I'm speechless...Thank you all for putting this documentary together. ....Friday, we are so proud of you & we miss you!!! I just love me some calypso, and as much as the media bad mouth the lyrics of Hugo, it will be my favorite calypso song of Jam Band, next to Horse chip! I was so glad when Friday stood up to them about the lyrics!!! Back in the 90's Jam Band came to Atlanta, Georgia and I went to the club that night, I walked up to the band and asked them to play 'ah tell she" & they played it for me. That made my night!!!! Just one note, Friday was the leader of the band, but he would agree with me, he didn't do it alone, he had a group of awesome musicians working with him, they all made Jam Band number one, but Friday was the icing on the cake!!!!!! Well- done!!!!!

My memory of Friday, besides going to a jam, was times he would play basketball in Polyberg and bring his baby girl Nicole with him. I would watch her while the game was going on. He was respected by all, young and old. He will forever be missed!
