Thanks for sharing. My daughter is a freshman in Kyushu Univ this school year. Your video lessened my worries for my daughter. Take care. More vlogs to come. We love Fukuoka prefecture and all of Kyushu region.❤

Oh thats fantastic - honestly nothing to worry about at all. Everyone I have come across at that uni has been so kind and the city of Fukuoka is so incredible with the most helpful people I’ve ever come across in Japan. What campus of Kyushu University will she be attending? I’m sure she will have such an amazing experience! Thanks so much for tuning in and I wish your daughter the best for her upcoming journey to Japan 🇯🇵🙋🏽♂️

Thanks legend! Appreciate you tuning in for the watch. Oh you used to live in Sendai? I’ve been there before. Cool city hey, really relaxed. In Sendai Station they have a cafe called Zunda Saryo that does Edamame thickshakes. They are so good that when I got back to Australia, I reached out to the company to try and franchise in Australia! Must try if you haven’t already 🙋🏽♂️🇯🇵

@@hangswithchristian Yeah lived there for a couple years. Moved back to the States 2 years ago, but we missed it too much that we are moving back, this time permanently. And oh yeah we've been there! Sendai is known for their Zunda! Never had it before Sendai.

Another great video, Christian-very insightful interview with three foreign students studying in Japan. Compare their monthly rental costs with those in any city in Australia, and I know where I’d rather be. Even setting aside rental costs, having spent a considerable amount of time in Japan, I’d choose Japan hands down. It would be interesting to know what work, if any, they do in Japan to supplement their stay. Not to be nosy, but I’m just genuinely curious about what work foreign students do in Japan. Many, of course, work in convenience stores, but I’m sure there are many other jobs they do. Again, another great video, mate.

Hi legend, it’s really great to hear from you again as always! I’m glad you enjoyed it. I had so much fun chatting to them and it was really interesting hearing how universities work in Japan as a foreigner. I’ve always been curious so I reached out to them and they were so kind to lend me their time. And 100% you are right on the cost of living in comparison. I just got back from Sydney yesterday and I had already forgotten about how much it costs there. It’s so wild, people are struggling to pay bills! Yeah, I actually did have a question in there about what they do for work though I didn’t end up asking as most of them I found out were on scholarships and weren’t working. I really want to do a video on different jobs outside of English teaching in Japan. What career paths foreigners who have little to know Japanese can take if they are coming here to study or work, you know? Thanks again for watching buddy 🙋🏽♂️🇯🇵
