I'm curious to know if possibly anyone knows more about the creative industries in Japan such as Music, Games, Anime etc. I'm doing an undergrad in music and if all goes well, a music postgrad in japan (partially via an exchange scheme or just applying directly as an international student). I know it is notoriously difficult to get a visa in Japan specifically for musicians and artists in general due to needing essentially international recognition. I am genuinely curious what the creative industries are like for people who do music/the arts as a living in Japan. Are there any openings in the creative world for foreigners that would be viable to try out for? I definitely have backups as I have job experience in various things like admin, event management and service but Music has always been the subject that I have a true passion in and I love the creative industries for Video Games, Anime, Film and Tv etc. If anyone has thoughts, comment, ideas etc. I would love to hear them!

What kind of film stock is Oats and Brains? Is it similar to existing stocks?
@randallstewart1224
@randallstewart1224 Жыл бұрын
Don't expect a serious reply to this one, because it won't be "similar", it will be an existing film stock. The practice of paying some film maker to repackage their existing film product under your choice of "brand name" and funky product packaging has become common on YT, where the seller really contributes nothing to the process except brand advertising on YT. "Ribsy" is (was?) a great example, selling Fomapan at a considerable price markup under his brand name. There is sometimes a marketing trick involved, like Ribsy selling 35mm in cardboard rather than plastic protective tubes to be "more environmentally friendly". Eventually, the connection gets outed by users, but in the mean time, you are just buying overpriced "mystery meat". That's fine if you want to support the source, but expect no distinctive or "miracle" film product.

Gaku I feel like you don't give yourself enough credit as a photographer. I consume a ton of portrait/fashion photography and more often than not, they all look so generic and boring in my opinion, even from the biggest names in the field. I started following you because of your style of fashion photography
