Hey Man, I was a cook for the first 11 years of my young adult life. Dropped out of high school my senior year an attend CIA in Hyde Park, NY. Worked my way around Miami and eventually ended up leaving the trade. Every time I’m missing the “life” i turn on one of your videos and they always fill that void. I can only imagine the time it takes to do what you do and do the vlogs! Props to you chef, very underrated!
@CulinaryMisfitsАй бұрын
Wow! Thank you so much for your kind words. I truly wish you can find something that feels that void. Making these videos is something I actually enjoy more than cooking itself so it's a win-win for me. People like you are what make me love what I do even more. I'm truly grateful to be able to do this for you and everyone else.

@@carolineramage7480 no is a cultural thing. I heard the accent and know how people from my culture act around hired help vs their kids. Is them bossing around by making arbitrary rules for what they consider "the help".
@carolineramage7480Ай бұрын
@@SaintsandSushi what was the accent? I didn’t pick it up. SA? They're the employer, they can call the shots. It's the kids home, they're allowed to make noise. Different if the kids were playing in the kitchen, which I'm sure doesn't happen. The chef said he didn’t mind cooking at his place. Or maybe that was for the camera? Seemed genuine. The chef also said how quiet the house was without the kids around, but not really quiet in a good way. They let him do his KZbin in their house, which is very generous. The chef also gets to use quality ingredients in a beautiful kitchen with no full restaurant pressure.
@SaintsandSushiАй бұрын
@@carolineramage7480 "Calling shots", making irrelevant and arbitrary rules is not a part of employee and employer agreement. That is a personal choice to be toxic and inappropriate with hired staff to assert dominance. He was hired to cook which he does that's the expectation of their agreement. Cooking requires some element of noise so its to be expected if you want cooking to be done...on the other hand kids engaging in the inappropriate behavior of screaming their lungs out is a parent's choice to allow. Even the chef call the person talking to him a jerk for a reason....
