I can tell the brothers are suffering due to being isolated due to covid. It isn’t normal to be cut off from one’s peers at that age for so long. It bothers me when people feel the need to go and leave negative comments on social media or families sharing what they are going through with sick children... You never know what to do til your in that situation And you want to give your child every possibility they can have to be comfortable and happy. As a parent there isnt a thing you wouldn't do to have a healthy happy child and sometimes people are put in situations where they dont get healthy. And making your child as happy as they can be for the time they have them is the top priority. I cant imagine leaving a negative comment on a sick childs post... like the family doesnt have enough to think about and feel and deal with. They are dealing with it every single day. They dont need the negative comments. Sending love for this baby boy. I hope they find their cure. I hope he has all the happy wiggles in the world. And I send you and your beautiful family love prayers and hope. You are all doing the best you can for him.

I'm on the families Facebook page that mom runs for Jerimiah, they're trying to get nursing they have one nurse who comes in a couple hours a week, and an aide that comes in some days too but she's not allowed to do anything medical with him so she can't leave Jerimiah with him. Just wanted to drop by to say hello and thanks for the video. We basically ran an ICU out of our living room for 2.5 years for my mother who was on life support--tracheostomy, ventilator, suctioning, tube fed, etc. It was the hardest thing I've ever been through in my life, but I don't regret the decisions we made, and I certainly don't regret the extra time we got with her. Stay strong--try not to let other people's opinions affect you. People like to make cerebral judgements or predictions about what they would or would not do in your shoes. But unless they're actually thrown into what is frequently the most emotionally distraught situation they'll ever encounter, NO ONE really knows what they'd do when forced to make a life or death decision for someone they love. Don't forget to do kind things for yourself; it's easy to forget your own needs when you're constantly attending to the needs of someone else, especially when that someone is on life support. I remember feeling very isolated from everyone, and I actually lost a lot of friends because no one could really understand the intensity of what we were going through on a daily basis. I remember one friend asking why I couldn't just, "take a night off" and join her for dinner. Like I had an entire critical care team on stand-by just waiting to come relieve me so I could go to dinner. Anyway, before this gets too long, please know I'm thinking of you and your family. Be well 🙂
