Heyyyy, you are so real for this! Honestly, I feel the imposter syndrome/perfectionism soooo hard lately. I haven't written that much since December, and when I do, it's a whole lot of "Am I using this phrase too much?" or "is this plot plotting?" or "is my main character relatable to anyone but me?" So please know you aren't alone and you being candid in this video actually really helped me feel less alone! You are crushing it though. Can't wait to find out more about Venture Beyond!

You are growing, while painful for you, it is beautiful to see. I teared up listening to you. You didn't fail the challenge, you can't write what isn't there. You disappointed yourself and that made me cry. Darling Taylor you are creating art, not riding a bike. I witnessed one of my favorite (Taylor Ann Write, Tia Chu, Just Martine) ornery young ladies (not listed in any specific order) move to Young Woman. Your intellectual property is equaling your maturity, hopes and dreams. I read book 1 and will wait as long as necessary for book 2. Hugs and well wishes for lots of words. 💓

Congrats on getting a lot of writing done and feeling great about what you’ve put on the page! 🎉 I think with challenges like these, stopping before you start feeling burnout is best. Also, thanks for your honesty about perfectionism as a writer. I feel that too!

Girl, I really feel everything you’re saying about where you’re at with this series - AND about the genesis of Venture Below. The project I’m working on is also something I started working on when I was transitioning from middle school and high school. I published the first book when I was 17 and, for years, have been really struggling with feeling proud of it. I actually made the decision this year to go back and rewrite the book in hopes to release it as a 10 year anniversary edition (because that’s quite literally how long it’s been since I published it lol). All this to say, it’s so validating hearing someone else go through the same thoughts as I do with my own work or who is in a similar place as I am with my writing journey. Thank you for being vulnerable and for being honest about where you’re at. It meant a lot to me today! AND THE COVER FOR THE NEW BOOK IS SO AMAZING 😍

You may have failed the challenge, but you didn't fail your book because you still worked on it! Writing really can be so tough, I usually write/post at least one fanfic a year but haven't posted anything in 2. While I have written in that time, it wasn't anything that felt good enough to post and I haven't been super inspired. I also have a bunch of fanfic that I cannot look at anymore because they're so embarrassing and terrible to me and I want to delete them, but I have to remind myself that "Hey, looking at the stats, at least 1 person has really loved and enjoyed this, and whenever fanfics I love get deleted, I mourn them, so at least 1 person would be sad this fic is gone, so I will leave it up for them". IDK if that would help you with your imposter syndrome at all, but it's something that allows me to accept and be ok with it instead of it festering into negative feelings. Sending you all the good writing vibes

Hello, I am an arc/beta reader, if you don't know what that is you would be amazed of how I can help you. I have reached out to ten authors and publishers that have mailed me copies of their unreleased books. If you have any unreleased books that I can write reviews for then you can reach out to my for further help, and reviews!
