So much hard surface, stone walls, stone on the drive, and the roses softened every area so beautifully. Even the tomatoes and sunflowers against the house are lovely.. I think the courtyard design and fountain are fabulous. The whole area has improved with your work and Dan's gardening. Diesel and Ruby loving each other is the cutest part of the video.

The first thing I notice about a city or town is the abundance of scarcity of plant life. Even the most ragged place comes to life (literally, I suppose) with plant life and looks less neglected and impoverished.

Those Pink Roses are gorgeous. The Lupins and grapevines. Little Ruby loves talking and she worries about you and wants to make sure you are safe. She wonders why you are and all by yourself and he will stay and take care of you. He may also think you are talking to him! Diesel goes ahead too, as he leads the way, but keeps an eye on you too! lol Selmar Thank you for taking the time to show us around in the quiet of the evening. That is the best time of all!! I love it when quiet as well. need both ways. But so much we never really see as after all during the say it is very busy and certain areas and thing and people need to be concentrated on so we really do not get all the extra spots/ If we do it would be quick so we can miss much. So having a little extra time like this is very nice. TY

I appreciate your sharing the roses, fruit trees, and other beautiful and strong plants in the La Lande garden. I am a beginner gardener and through the vlog I have learned all the knowledge and effort necessary to create such a healthy garden as yours. What a treat for Diesel, Ruby, the chickens, the peacocks (and what other animals I have forgotten about) to roam this beautiful place. Thank you, Selmar, for this lovely, peaceful evening walk. You took it slow and paused to give us a chance to take in all the beauty and details...the flowers, the animals, the fountain, the setting sun and the rainbow sky. I appreciate the time you took to let us really see the details of the fountain from so many angles and I enjoyed seeing and hearing the water as it fell, it was so calming and peaceful. This was the best close up look at the fountain - usually everyone is so busy coming and going, working on this project or that - thank you for giving us the time to appreciate its beauty. I live in an apartment now, and so miss sitting in my yard in the cool of a summer evening, smelling scents of honeysuckle and magnolia, hearing the sounds of the woods behind us and watching the breeze move the leaves....so thank you for sharing the beauty of la Lande. Several of the still shots at the end of your vlog would make beautiful notecards. Ruby's trilling and talking meows reminded me of one of my cats who recently passed - I love that our cats like to hang out with us as we go about our business. So glad I decided to watch this vlog tonight - take care.
