"Ten billion trillion chances for the brain to be eclipsed by something else" That line gave me chills.

Imagine a class 4 civilization that made a super galaxy composed of multiple supermassive black holes rotating a universal singularity that spins thousands of galaxies. And each galaxy is several black holes holding thousands of solar systems. And finally, each solar system is a black hole with 10 suns rotating around it and supporting thousands of planets in the habitable zone.

What's amazing about melodysheep, is in the first episode, it was mainly just him, but of course his goal with this series was huge. Eventually we arrived here with visual help from other visual artists and for narration. But still, melodysheep himself is responsible for storyboarding (writing out the entire script/visual plans for everything in these videos), and he does ALL the sound effects and music. melodysheep got his start doing music related stuff. I originally stumbled upon his channel like 13 years ago when he was doing his 'Symphony of Science' music videos. These were original songs produced by him, where he takes dialogue vocal clips from famous scientists like Neil DeGrasse Tyson, Carl Sagan, etc, and autotuned them to form lyrical songs backed by instrumentals. You don't have to react to them, but definitely check out those old videos of his. Some of the songs are damn good. Thanks for reacting, man! Iunno if you want some random reaction suggestions, but you seem like maybe a bit of a gamer. How about some video game cinematics? I'm a sucker for visual effects myself, so I love me a good cinematic, even if the game is meh. Like I could never get into League of Legends, but all their seasonal cinematics are so damn good. 'Awaken' or 'The Call' are my favourites from LoL. Or the intro cinematics for Starcraft 2, or maybe Star Wars: The Old Republic. Also if you ever do upload more gaming videos, might be cool if you do some playthroughs of like No Man's Sky or something. Elite Dangerous is also a great massive space game, though a bit more technical.

Something that many people don't understand is the true distance of other galaxies and galactic bodies. Even traveling at the speed of light, it would still take 2.5 Million years of travel to finally get to andromeda. and that is the closest other galaxy to us.

The answer to your question "what happens if you're travelling at near light speed and you hit an object" you're right, it's total obliteration. Most atoms in your body and the spaceship would come apart. It would also create a massive explosion. Light speed travel is a total work of fiction. You'd have to become photons physically to even be able to do that anyway. It's also not very practical, as it still takes ages to get anywhere relevant in space and the energy required to speed up to that would be immense. There are designs where using solar sails and new generation ion thrusters, you could get up to about half the speed of light. Of course new thrusters, technologies, more efficient methods and scientific discoveries to advance things will come about. But I'd wager that for a good while, at least until we're type 2, AT LEAST, we won't have any craft going the speed of light, only a percentage of it. But we'll still probably be able to visit much more distant places than what we would've been capable of with light speed ships. Why? Warp drives. Basically, if we can focus dense energies and masses in one spot, we can build an engine that takes advantage of this and create more space behind you, and less space in front of you. Or rather, expand space behind and squeeze it in front. This way, you can theoretically cover large distances many times quicker than light itself without breaking any physics. Because the space you'd have to cover going ahead would be far less, whilst the expanding space behind you would give the ship a "push". It also eliminates the issue of crashing into something, as you'd simply glide through space time and there'd probably be some kinda barrier that keeps space time itself curving over and around the ship. Likely starting when we have reached type 1. Which is estimatedly roughly 20-50 years from now, assuming we don't wipe ourselves out or our world economy doesn't totally crash. In 20 years, quantum-classical computer hybrid PC's and quantum supercomputers/servers will give us an incomprehensibly large amount of computing power, something we would never even guess at currently. Our "phones" will have more computing ability than supercomputers of today and our personal PC's will eclipse hundreds of server rooms put together as of today. You can get the idea of what supercomputers and mega servers will be like then. When that technological singularity happens and when many of us band together to share our technological bandwidth, there'll likely be scientific discoveries every few minutes or more and new inventions every day. Probably game changing ones every month or so, advancementd that we only get every 5 years or so now. At this scale, we would not only become type 1, but probably type 2 as well within the space of about 1-2 decades. So if type 1 is in 20 years, than type 2 might be 30-50. The point I'm trying to make here, is that I think warp drives will be invented sometime between 30-60 years from now, therefore allowing us to explore space more and collect even more data for new discoveries. But travelling at the speed if light would only came late jnto type 2 or at type 3, since like I said, that requires one to possess the properties of photon, or some kind of advanced tech that we could never dream of right now

If we become anything with no mass then that would instantly cause us to travel at C. However, because time needs something to be measured agains, like mass, it would cease once you became a photon. This is how photons experience time; they don't. At speeds as fast as C the moment a photon leaves a star is the exact same moment it gets absorbed by an object 12 billion light years away. So if we could travel at C, which is still impossible if you have even the smallest amount of mass, we would technically be able to teleport anywhere. From our massless perspective it would be instant transportation, but to everyone observing us it would take X amount of years. My point is that relativity is just super cool.

While the scale of civilization has been only ruled to type 3, old type 3 civilizations even possible type 4 civilizations who had that much power and influence would literally have God level power over everything.

To answer your question about redshift, yes, radio waves also redshift and would eventually, over vast distances, become impossible to differentiate from the cosmic microwave background.
