We just got pregnant with our third and it took us 7 months. I completely understand how difficult the waiting season is. It took us a year and a half to get our first. We got pregnant the month before we had an appointment with a fertility doctor. Our second happened the first month and then this one 7. It has been so fun watching you throughout the years because we have gone through so many stages of life together. I was pregnant with my oldest when you announced you were pregnant with Fox. I just had my second when you announced your pregnancy with Mali and then you were talking about how you and Kurt were wanting to try for a third while my husband I were trying. I love watching your videos because I can relate to you on so many levels. Thank you for sharing your life. It makes my day whenever you post!

I’ve made a one pot lasagne recently, for the ‘white sauce’ I blobbed on cream cheese that had parmesan/salt/pepper mixed into it, with extra parmesan grated across the top (like you did). As you bake it in the oven it melts really nicely and crisps up on the top. 👌🏼😋

Your feelings about TTC are totally valid, just because there are people that have greater fertility struggles doesn’t make you’re struggles any less difficult. I felt the same as you when trying for my 4th, I always got pregnant right away with my others but then it took me 6 months. It doesn’t seem like a long time in the grand scheme of things but it’s really bloody hard when you’re in it. I also hate that once you’ve had 2 kids you’re not allowed to feel upset about these things. I just miscarried what would have been #5. It was an unexpected pregnancy but we were so excited! And here’s just 2 comments we got when I told people, “omg you almost had 5 kids!” Followed by laughing. My husband was then told “oh it’s time to get booked in then” referring to him having a vasectomy. Imagine just for a second saying that to someone miscarrying their first or second baby.

We tried for 11 months for our son and that felt like a lifetime, but that would be quick to others too. People would always say to me, it'll happen when you're not trying or just stop thinking about it And I was always like how can I not think about it. It's all I want! I feel like you're having total normal feelings and even if it hasn't been 'long', it doesn't mean you're not allowed to have those feelings. It took my husband and I 3 months the first time and 6 months the second time. Even though you can feel super thankful you can even get pregnant, once you make your mind up to have a child, or another child, it’s easy to feel like everything until pregnancy is just a waiting game. I think it’s a really normal feeling. By month 6 this time around I was starting to feel fairly stressed even though I told myself not to.

Your story is literally mine, first child.. we didn’t even try and I got pregnant, second baby .. 1st try done.. 3rd baby… it took 10 months and wow .. My dad used to make deconstructed lasagna all the time! We called it "zagna" (pronounced like lasagna without the la). We loved it! I don’t think I’ve ever commented on your videos but just wanted to say house crazy different yet so relatable we are… if that makes sense… this video was so fun and I plan on playing the bean boozled game with our 6 year old 😅and I also find myself making the same thing so I don’t disappoint him, lol. We eat spaghetti a lot and he LOVES Homemade lasagna as well but sometimes I want ravioli or stuffed shells!!! I’m like kid!!! It’s literally pasta sauce and cheese!!!! JUST EAT IT!!! I make a lasagna soup for my family and after I scoop the soup into the bowl I add a couple tsp sizes scoops of Burrata cheese and top with basil. Gives it that cheesy element missing from the Ricotta. Don’t forget the dash of red pepper flakes to kick the sauce up a notch. Doesn’t make it spicy but adds depth.

Sarah don’t let other people’s struggles detract from the fact that trying for a baby is a rollercoaster of emotions irrespective of how long you’ve been trying.
