Why did Jake even go to the hospital if he isn't going to accept the help that's needed. He's wasting everyone's time. Other patients could have been helped instead of them looking after him. Dude, just stay home next time.

I mean, hands are extremely sensitive, we can never know anyone else’s pain threshold. I have chronic pain and have daily 5/10 pain, only go to the er at 8+/10. My vitals don’t start showing signs of distress until I’m above a 10. My point is, if you’re not accustomed to pain, it hurts more than it would if you live with a constant level of pain everyday

I've got the same issue as Dr. Uzair. I was a surgical tech & I was absolutely fine in the OR, the blood, cutting & smells didn't bother me at all but on screens watching procedures gets to me. I think it's because in the moment your mind is focused on the task you're given, for me it was assisting surgeons in emergency general procedures that were scheduled for the last two hours of the day & then I was on the death shift from 3-11pm when stupid people get the grand idea that they should drive home after happy hour ends. We honestly got more emergency appendectomies than anything else.

So funny, Jake is so tough, that he had to leave as soon as they said they were going to give him an injection for the stitches and opted to leave for glue instead. I honestly felt like he was putting on an act just for the cameras so he could say that he never follows the rules. He’ll soon either end up paralized, dead from an accident or dead from the beatings when he goes to jail. What a tool. He waisted how much time with staff, not to mention the full body and head scans. He should’ve just asked a friend to get him from the accident scene so as to not wasste anyone’s time in a crowded A & E.

I worked in healthcare for years, & it is so disrespectful for a person to do the opposite they're told in the ER or hospital. They often are the ones who later sue the hospital for malpractice when their injury develops into a full-fledged brain bleed or permanent damage to their bodies.😖.

The mom talking about running down the street to see her son on the road, having been hit reminded me of the time my mother was driving home from work and she could see activity ahead, one block beyond our street, and the girl next door running towards her waving her hands and crying. My mom went over and my eldest brother was laying on the pavement covered and surrounded in his blood. My brother was 17 and a 20 something had been stunting in the neighbourhood and rammed his car into my brother. He'd been flipped off his 10 speed and his face/head smashed into the windshield. My mom stood over him in shock and thought my brother was dead. Later when my dad got home, the girls father drove him into the hospital so he wouldn't have to drive upon hearing the news. Parents do go through a lot.

At 28:09, with the little girl cutting her nose on a flower pot, I had a similar accident when I was in 2nd grade due to me chasing my brother at a job site, where my dad was working, and ran into a sheet of medal after my brother went under a table. I turned around, while still running, to look and him and when I went to look forward-BAM- I ran straight into the sheet of metal and it took a single handkerchief and half of another one to stop the bleeding, luckily didn’t have to get stitches, even though I probably should have gone to the doctor, but did not go due to my fear of doctors

The UK lags far behind most other European countries in terms of encouragement of cycling and road safety. It's been run for years by the Tories, who are in the pockets of the oil and car lobbies.

I completely relate with Uzier, not with blood but with vomit. Vomit in real life, fine, no problem. Don't like it but I can keep myself together. People vomiting on TV, especially unrealistic comedy vomit has me instantly gagging.

The guy who had no self-respect and respect for others, will one day spite himself. He has a misaligned idea of what is good and bad behaviour. I suspect his breath stinks just like his attitude. His dental health in terms of his gums is terrible! His gums is really swollen!

After watching these shows over and over, I wonder what type of dental care they have in England.. So many people have very crooked teeth or missing teeth, etc. Is it just not there or too expensive? I wish I could help them. Most are good looking otherwise!

What is wrong with Jack's family? Do they not believe in dental care? Jack is 11 and looks like he's been smoking for 20 years. Mom and dad's teeth are atrocious.

I’d say in > 70% of all episodes watched, majority of patients seem to have very bad teeth. Coincidence? Don’t think so. Likely dentist car is too expensive for most

Dental care and dental insurance is very expensive. I was fortunate that my parents could afford dental care and braces and that l , at 65, seem to still have good teeth. We also fluoridate our water in Canada. It does make a difference. Canada is finally beginning to slowly introduce universal dental care as well, BUT, unlike doctors, dentists must opt in. Further Jack’s teeth seem spotted not universally bad. Some drugs taken at a young age can affect the teeth.

@@missg.5940 - actually, only 39% of Canadian water has flouride added to it. Fluoridated water can cause it’s own problems so it is a highly contested topic here. ✌🏻💜🇨🇦

You really don’t need to be rude, especially towards a young child! Maybe they can’t afford dental care or his teeth could be damaged from antibiotics or other health issues. Try practicing ✌🏻and ❤ instead. I promise that it’ll make you feel much better about yourself.

@@Canadiangirl4922Agree, it’s rude & unnecessary to talk about another person that way, particularly a child. He’s a good kid, one who pushed his friend out of danger. Teeth can always be fixed but not having such a good character at age 11. His parents are doing a great job. Not everyone can afford A1 dental care.
