Something I noticed is that the half guard is really not necessary when bringing the bulk down to a one, your fade is practically done once you level play and hit the dark line with a one closed ATG... I love this cut. I always get confused when it comes to the guard but this shit is so fresh and the taper always looks clean.

Only thing is we need to start using a guard or comb to absolutely block clippers from touching the roots of peoples locks. Over time it thins them out

You should probably use the half guard closed, medium, then open right after the 1A. That would've gave your taper a flawless look and it would've removed that guide line you left from the 1A to the 1 guard. Still not bad though.

Great cut ‼️ I can say that I walked away with knowledge that I didn’t previously own. In my opinion I feel like the color of the pencil was to light for the color of his skin.
