Florent is a truly magnificent artist and I try to catch most of his posts. He has been very kind to the model's eyelids here, though. We don't really get to study the model up close but it appears that she has more of a so-called monolid. However, it is still a stunning drawing.

Lovely work, I’d be interested in knowing about the substrate. Looks like a cold press, watercolor paper with a tinted pastel ground or other pumice medium mix? Sounds like it’s got a good bit of bite.

TBH, I don't find Nitram charcoal any better than a much cheaper willow charcoal. Infact I found my generic willow charcoal having much better flow and value.
