*The Lady filming you just did your filming for fame and MAKE THINGS LOOK AS IF IT'S WORSE TO LIVE IN YEMEN. If you truly wanted to help Najmia you're the first person to start the change. Why didn't you ask her to go visit places to spend her time when she was bored? You lived in Yemen and there are many places that Najmia could spend her time.There is Bilquis centre where only girls go to play basketball and karate they can remove their hijabs and it's free it's a government place, there's Funcity, there's a park on the way to the airport, there's a park in the middle of the town where girls day is on Wednesday and women are free to remove their hijabs and girls do ride bicycles, there are alot of hotel's with delicious Yemeni foods and very cheap. ETC. I think Najmia she's a type of a girl who doesn't want to interact with her fellow girls but wants to mix with boy's. She already said that she's in grade seven so it means the parent's never denied her to go to school even her parents took long to let her wear her hijab early. She's already 13 and some of the girls do start to wear as early as 7 and some even take long to wear until they're already in secondary. Many foreigners who visit and some who work as Teacher's they'll actually tell you how many girls at school take long to put on their hijabs and they say Yemen is a free country to women in many ways. We have women in parliament, and many women are free working. So I don't understand why you make Yemen look like a very old fashioned country while many travel for vacations in France, U. S, U. K, and Germany. For you to be married at 11 try to understand that's not in Yemen only but, world wide. Watch documentaries on early Marriage's and you'll be shocked to see it's everywhere. Don't feel that because you now live in U. S, you conquer the world, Listen, happiness comes anywhere not only when you live in western countries. Najmia already said death to Israel, death to America so she wasn't in need for support to study, the girl was in grade 7 and now she's already 19. At least go do something to stop the bombings in your former country instead of showing us how you're defending Your Own religion so that you're given a credit, by saying hijab is traditionally invented? GET WELL SOON!*

@@FirstnameLastname-rd2yg , what a stupid comment. We all can see how primitive the Yemeni society can be . And it's such a shame. it's a torn up country, much worst than how is portrated in this movie that was filmed around 2005. And you're full of s**t, as a foreigner you can not get a visa and it's not safe for anyone. Your cheap propaganda is pathetic.

I hope this brave young girl stays safe. Someone could easily murder her with the excuse she is going against Islam and walk free from murder! :-(
@arabian_semite_99669 жыл бұрын
+Sharee Schultz Stop using religion. I a Muslim, most Muslim women are strong and independent and this girl is not going against Islam or anything. You do realize that the majority of the stepbacks are because of Orthdodox traditions and because of war and poverty reasons. Compare the Muslim women of Kuwait, the UAE, Qatar and so on.. they are all smart, educated women who are very independent, please dont be brainwashed.
@shareeschultz34328 жыл бұрын
+theaverageteen99 I am only speaking the truth! Sadly too many women & young girls fall victims to men who misinterpret Islam for their own personal greed & gain. I respect Islam & I have nothing against the religion itself. I only dispise those people who twist the words of the Qu'ran to suit themselves. You can not tell me this does not happen!
@freeworldorder65118 жыл бұрын
+Sharee Schultz - I agree with you buddy. There are many knuckle heads in every religion, race and ethnicity. But we should stand together with the peaceful majority. Peace :)

Not true, in Yemen if you kill you get killed, there is no exception
@riiii5562 жыл бұрын
I wouldn’t blame this on religion cause this isn’t the case in this situation, I’m Muslim myself. Within Yemeni culture/society it’s normalized for a women to be inside, not see sunlight. Yemeni women aren’t even aloud to post their faces on social media due to their family, society standards..

Mabd1202 , they is so much resentment because she is a girl and she speaks up for herself. She goes totally against the male social mind set . This puts fear , anger into men and women. If she was a lesbian , so what !! . She is a human being who is intelligent, strong , I hope she gets to her goals in that make tyranist society .
