Good morning. Thank you for the video. The rubber ring in my vacuum flask fell off and i don't know if i fixed it back correctly because since the day it fell my flask doesn't retain heat anymore. Kindly assist in advising how to fix the rubber ring probably. Thank you🙏

Check the ring whether it sits/laps properly on the cover in question. Most times its normally on the last rung at the bottom of the inner cover. Make sure its not towards the top part. All the best.

Yes you can. But pls make sure you are using that same 'luke warm hot water' that you initially used to prep the flask to wash and rinse and ensure to turn flask upside down to dry before use.

Hello sis I watched ur two videos about the water/ food flask prepping. Infact yesterday I bought the Haeirs 750 and 1000 mil both for 33k. I poured hot water into both and washed it with soap afterwards. And that was the end. Put food inside it didn’t even give me four hours hot. Thanks for these videos. And pls is there a good brand of flask u will recommend and if possible a trusted contact to get it from as well, I am tired of buying flask, let me end the journey with these ur videos. Please I have used hot water directly from the cooker in the flask. I bought mine on Saturday. Do I still need to prep it again? Or I should return it to the person I bought it from. She told me to use veey hot water.

@PromiseChisom-jf6vl that very first prepping with lukewarm-hot water as described in the video is very important and is done only once before first use. Using hot water for first prepping spoils the flask. It won't last 2 weeks...before 4 - 6 hours, the water will no longer be hot again. You can take it back and see whether the seller is willing to change it for you. Or alternatively, going forward, stop pouring hot water directly into the flask, wait a few minutes before doing so. Try it with the lukewarm hot water again tonight and see whether it works. If it doesn't, just repurpose the flask for use with cold water only and get another one for hot water.

I put a Luke warm water, the one I can put my fingers for 10mins without removing it in a hurry. I put it in my new flask overnight, before morning it was already very cold. Pls did I do it wrongly. I wanted my flask to retain hotness, I just bought it and i have not used it before

Then you probably bought an already bad or faulty flask. Even cheap flasks still retain the same temperature when done overnight till morning.

Well, I wouldn't know. Its always advisable to buy from reputable vendors. Then again, its possible the flasks were made for only hot food/ breverages.

There is not much I can do to help you. You can try re-prepping it again following the steps outlined in the video and using it for hot water purposes and see how long it retains hotness.
