If someone sees another person doing something they'll feel that they should too. So if you are the first person in line and donate to charity then the person behind you will feel that they should donate too. I think that this sort of subconscious thing is somehow associated with the bystander effect. It's kinda like "if you see someone else set the example then you'll want to follow".

Okay also I relate to the grass allergy thing SO MUCH. You know how a lot of school had "Field Day" where they did sports outside all day? They'd make us sit on the ground a lot, and my mom said I would come home with rashes all over my legs. So basically she started telling them I was sick every year I wouldn't have to deal with all the allergic reactions lol (I didn't like sports anyways tbh)
