Really liked this video except for the pad tip ahah >__< Why take so much time and get your fingers all bloody just to flush it down the toilet when you can just fold it together and put it in the trashcan?

Flushing your pad or tampong will clog the toilet eventually.... And why would you want to rip your bloody pad? Just throw it in the garbage rolled up and that's it...

you know what's easier than rolling the drink in the ice bowl? put the ice in a cup and pour the drink over. LOL.
@noppiichi
@noppiichi 9 жыл бұрын
well but if your drink is extremely sweet (which is what most drinks are like) then it's not so terrible. Let's say I'm clearly unaware of this, but you know, when you buy drinks from subway/mcDonald's and other establishment out there, they mix in water to get more out of it. And most people aren't so icky about that anyway.

@@noppiichi I’m 6 years late and I’d like to debunk your comment about the mixing water to get more out of it. The thing is these systems don’t have fizzy drinks in the machine but they have syrups. So the machine mixes the syrup with carbonated water. If they wouldn’t have this system all the drinks would be flat.

I think flushing the pad is good for rare emergencies, like if you are somewhere with no bin where you would be embarrassed to walk out with it.. but obviously she doesn't mean to do it just at your own house!

For the drink hack for the paper towel one, you're supposed to leave it in for about 20 minutes (or until the paper towel pretty much isn't as wet anymore) and then it will be cold. It's not as fast a method as just chilling it in a salted ice water bath, but it is faster than trying to chill the drink normally.
@AnnekeOosterink
@AnnekeOosterink 10 жыл бұрын
You are NOT supposed to flush sanitary pads (or tampons), ever. They are designed to absorb moisture, and that makes them swell up and that clogs the pipes. Tearing them to pieces doesn't help, it just makes the pieces swell up. Just wrap them in the plastic wrapping they come in or some toilet paper and throw them in a bin.
@DallasBall

I think its meant for an emergency, like if there is no trash can in the public bathroom. I would rather flush it then put it in my purse or leave it on top of the toilet.

Vinegar actually works removing adhesive. You're just doing it the wrong way. Trying submerging the adhesive part in the vinegar for 3-5minutes and scrap it off. It works for me when I tried removing an impossible label from a glass jar few days ago.

To remove sticker residues, use oil. any oil would do i guess. I usually use cheap cooking oil. peel off the waxy layer of the sticker (if theres any), wet it with abit of water, then slather on a layer of oil on the residue. come back after maybe 10mins to wipe it off. Works like a charm for me everytime. Using nail polish on plastics results in a weird nasty matte finish.
